November 10, 2007 - MAGIC - Eastern

Pirate Night is on Tuesday ( I think St Maarten day?)

Also, you can guess what your dining rotation would be by who you are travelling with. I know there is a chart out there somewhere that can give you an idea of what it might be. There are no guarantees but they try to keep to the same rotations. For example, people with young kids genereally get 1 rotation while people with older kids get a different one and adults alone get the other one. I'll try to see if I can find where the chart is an post back. :)

We've travelled with young kids the last few cruises and have had LAP (Lumieres, Animators Palate, Parrot Cay, back to Lumieres etc) as our rotation, I think.

Ok replying to myself now :rotfl:

It seems we were in the group that does not follow the typical chart LOL So I guess that proves that the general rotation schedule is not set in stone :rotfl:

According to the 2 places I found the rotation (Passporter Guide 2007 & Deb's site), LAP is usually the adult one

APL is young children
PLA is older kids
LAP is adults

Names: Leslie (35), DH Shaune (33), DS Keaton (6), DD Chloe (will be 4 by the time we go)
Stateroom: we just booked a cat 11 inside stateroom. we actually were booked on a princess cruise (same itinerary) but found if we traded our balcony room for a disney interior, it was almost the same price. so we went for it b/c of the young age of our kids.
When you know pre/post-trip vacation plans: at this time, we are planning just to come in the night before and then return home same day as disembarkation. wish we could do a 4 day at disney but no-can-do this year :)

add to our total:FIL and MIL.....BIL & SIL with DB 7 and DG 4....we are all on starboard side of deck 6. DD is thrilled her cousins are coming...and so are we..maybe now she will hit the kids clubs!

Hi gang! Only 262 days to go before we all meet on the magic!

Tell me, how will we be able to recognize each other???

Is there a ribbon or something else that will that me that you're a dis-friend???

. . . Tell me, how will we be able to recognize each other??? . . .
Different cruises do it differently. The "official" DIS color is lime green. I've seen lime green lanyards, t-shirts, pinback buttons, name tags, luggage tags, stickers, wristbands, boas, and leis to name a few.

It all depends on what people want -- or are willing -- to do. Any volunteers?

One time we had someone make up t-shirts for everyone that came out really nice! But I am not talented in that area at all ;)

Another time we picked a really out of the way place to meet but that dind't work to well since some people couldn't find it.

Just wanted to stop by and say Hi. We were on the November double dip with Woody and others and we got lime green wristbands. It was a great way to pick people out, yet subtle enough to wear with my formal gown:rotfl: .

So sorry but we will not be able to join you on this cruise after all... we've changed to the November 15, 2008 (Western) as this is my husband's 40th birthday! :thumbsup2 We also thought this cruise might be a better overall fit for us as it will most likely be our last family vacation together as our oldest will be a high school senior and off to college the following Fall.

Anyway, enjoy your cruise! Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you in the future! :)

We will miss you. Have fun cruising in 11/08!

Hi everyone. My family is also planning to cruise on the 10 November Eastern Magic. There's me princess: , DH pirate: , DS 15:cool2: , and DS 13:yay: . Although we've been to WDW many times, this will be our first time on DCL and our first cruise ever. I've learned so much from the DIS boards already and look forward to picking up more tips as the date gets closer. My family, especially DS-15, think I'm obsessed and a bit crazy to be planning so early, but I've found with Disney, the more you know what to expect, the more you can relax and enjoy yourself once you're there. Can't wait for November!!

Thanks, I will do that. flymv: I see you have a 14-year old son. Will he be 14 on the November cruise? Sounds like he's the right age for "hanging out" with my guys....!
