We are leaving out of PHL on 10/30. We have the 6:35 flight on Southwest. Headed down early to MNSSHP.
Got all the laundry done today...
Dining room table looks like a heap of EVERYTHING
Suitcases in DR waiting to get filled
Has anyone else noticed that pulling suitcases out of attic makes kids hyper as if the Holiday Lights were turned on? Also, the animals are acting weird...Cats are depressed but dogs are bouncing ( they are going to the Doggy Country Club w/pool)...think they know something is up?

out suitcases, our animals always knew they were going on a vacation too...but I don't think they were happy about it. We don't have any animals currently so I don't have to worry about upsetting anyone

I was to excited about it and DH said "you keep talking about it and I still don't care..." I shouldn't be all that suprised since this is really my vacation...even though I keep telling myself it is for DD.

how wonderful our TA is!! I have been stressing that last 2 months over our dinner time. We had the second seating and really needed main due to DH's severe reflux (he has a condition called Barrett's and has an upper GI done once a year) and with DD only 3 and not used to eating that late, I was beginning to think we would have to skip the dining room and eat at topsiders each night.

This past Thursday I e-mailed TA and asked if there was anything else (I had already faxed down a doctor note) to try to get main seating...she e-mailed me on Friday to say after talking to the dinner manager, we now have main seating...

I am sooooo excited, we get to eat at a "normal" time and still get to watch DD experience the dining rooms...

My new mission is to find a cute Disney (preferably from the cruise) gift to give to our TA for being so great and putting up with my (almost) weekly e-mails about or dinner assignment...any ideas?

I find Holiday Ornaments awesome gifts, for each year when pulled out of the box, you get that same feeling you did when you first received it. Good Luck.

I almost blew it 3 times this weekend.

I had bought a bunch of sizes of surf walkers & tennis shees from Lands End when they were on sale and I had free shipping. I asked the kiddos to come downstairs with me to try on some new tennis shoes. Good thing I did as BOTH of them had outgrown their tennis shoes that were purchased the 1st week of school. Both of them said "Wow, my feet don't hurt any more". I asked them to try on new surf walkers since they outgrew their sneakers. They didn't bat an eye as I told them I was checking the fit for the surf walkers as the pair they had probably wouldn't fit any more.

I returned the defective magnetic roll of tape & the large sheet yesterday. I started to cut the large sheet of magnetic paper last night. They wanted to know what the PTA closet needed with the huge sheet of magnetic paper?

I also cleaned/sanitized my hand held neb machine. They got their attention as I ALWAYS clean it before I go on vacation. Good thing I used it last week. That way I didn't blow my cover.

I just didn't answer them on that.

I am so glad the weather turned cooler as I can pack their matching capri pants, skorts and tops. I think I have to go back to Michael's to get the Iron On kit. I gotta go through the recycle bin to get the 20% off coupon.

Y'all will be able to pick my kids out at the meet & greet as they will be starring at everything.

Off to make lunches for the kiddos.

Plutospup- what a fantastic FE!!!!! Love the embroidered names!!

With the much colder weather, I can definitely pack up a bunch of shorts, etc today- man, that football game was FREEZING yesterday!!!! And it was almost 2 hours long (which is LONG for those who aren't aware of 6th grade football)!!! Good thing we won, 40-19, it was actually our toughest game this season.

Princesspaige- your DH sounds like mine- I am running around the house like a lunatic about our vacation and he is like i don't care. They all keep on telling me they'll be excited when we're there, but seriously!!! They'd better be, or else there's gonna be a man or 3 overboard!!!!

I'm glad everyone worked out their limo issues- if anyone wants me to pm them my cell # just-in-case, let me know- we'll have room for another small family in our limo, we're getting picked up at 11- We booked with Sterling limosine.

Time to take DS9 to school!

I am at the countdown of 9 days until we fly down...HOLY MOLEY...SINGLE DIGITS....

DH FINALLY went through all the clothes and found things to wear, funny part about it was that it was all hand me downs from DS14 !! Oh if you could have seen the humiliation on that mans face when his son said to him "here Dad, try this on, it doesn't fit me anymore".
What size do men's shoes go up too? DS14 is already in a 14-15...starting to get worried !!

Another Monday but one more day closer to leaving. I just have to make it through this week which is very busy! Tonight we are celebrating my son's 8th Birthday, tomorrow dance and soccer game, Wed- nothing, Thursday dance and Friday-nothing which means I can start packing. I have to work next Monday and Tuesday and then Wed we leave for Florida! Hopefully this week will go by fast!
We also booked with Florida Tours and I am calling to cancel today! The last thing we need is transportation problems! We are rebooking with another company.

Our son wears a size 16 and has since he was 15...he's 27 now. usually 17-18 can be had at a lot of shoe stores. However we found a lot of large sizes at Nike and Reebok outlets that were at a good price....but, will they wear them? Therein lies the rub )

Sorry to hear about the land transport problems people were having. That would worry me. We took the expensive route and we'll be on the DCL bus.

Busy packing weekend. Plus extra shopping for the trip to freshen up the cruise wear wardrobe.

The suitcases are out of the attic and Dkitty knows something is up. She is overly affectionate - trying to convince us not to leave. She'll be find - Grandma and Grandpa will take care of her and Dparakeet.

Exactly 1 week from today we'll be checking into the Wilderness Lodge Villas!!!! OMG, I can't believe it's finally here. My brother is here visiting the kids this week (they don't have school), this weekend we have a Halloween party, then EARLY monday morning we drive to WDW. I can't take it anymore!!!

Bolt is released on November 21st, so there is no way that they'd show it--too bad, it would be fun to get a sneak peek. We've sailed when things have been released before and they'll show things at 12:01am on the release day.
