November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

Only 4 more days till we start our trip and 6 days until we are actually at Disney ...wishing I was more excited.

Now to get all the ready and pack...I foresee a week of long nights.

my computer at work keeps crashing today my vacation can not come fast enough and I have been for the past three days and am totally worn out, I just can seem to find the energy to put the last few things in the suitcases. thank heavens I have more time until we leave.at least im amost is single digits hopfully bama mom will post some more of her vacation hint hint so I can die on the couch tonight and just read. LOL.

4 DAYS TILL DVC EVENT IN ROCHESTER AND THEN OFF TO SEE THE MOUSE!

Poor little guys are being shipped back to the North Pole one at a time.

Well, the van is all packed up and ready to go! WoooooHooooooo!!! My middle daughter Chelsea had her big soccer tournament over the weekend. She plays for a travel team...Winchester United. They went to finals and came in 2nd place so she's pleased. However, Chelsea did get injured (she's ok) but is very sore and is going to have a hard time sitting for the long van ride. We live 70 miles west of Washington DC...it'll take us about 9 1/2 hours to hit Savannah in which we're spending the night so we can see the Mighty Eighth AirForce Museum, eat at the Pirate House Restaurant and then go on a ghost tour. We'll leave Wed morning to head to Disney and check into the CBR!! WoooooHoooooo!!!!

Congratulations to Chelsea but I'm sorry to hear that she's in pain. Hopefully a visit with the mouse with make her feel better.

My daughter is an avid reader and is happy in the van until it's dark. We have tried book lights but her eyes get tired and she gets cranky. We finally found a solution for her. We went to the library and got the latest Harry Potter on cd. We put it on her MP3 player and she's soooo happy. Even in the dark she can listen to her book. Now she gets cranky when we make her turn it off for a pit stop!! She is much more relaxed and will even close her eyes for a nap. This might not sound like anything special but she's never been able to sleep sitting up.

Just found out we're going Thanksgiving weekend! I don't know if I will sleep for the next 2.5 weeks!

Leaving Thursday morning...YAY...can not wait!! 3 more sleeps for me...then Disney here I come...have NOT been there in 16 years!! (can you believe it? )

3 more days and DD woke up with a terrible cold! I'm taking her to CVS Minute Clinic to get her ears checked to make sure she doesn't have an EI!

I hope she is better by Friday morning.
