November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

We received our packet with documents yesterday!!!

Only 27 days!!! Only 3 more weekends!!!


Yesterday the kids and I went and bought shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc... for the trip. That was a lot of fun.

I was wondering if any of you know if there is a counter service place in AK that serves breakfast??

One of our days, we are going to AK when it opens, and I was hoping we could eat a quick breakfast in the park.

Same here!!! 27 days! Was just out this morning...picking up odds and ends. I still am the most excited...I think I'll sit the family down to watch the Disney Planning DVD again to try to build anticipation. 16 year old is...eh...has too much on her mind to think about WDW and 11 year old...just really thinks it is still too far away...DH is trying to get everything in line at work so he doesn't stress about it while on vacation at WDW...baby is too young to know anything that is going on...and me...I have you guys to keep me excited! LOL

We leave Nov 1st staying at CSR, hope the kids are okay with that because they loved All Star Movies. But we have 13 people going and with the PGA there our first choice (Contemporary) was booked a year ago! That alright because DH couldn't stomach the cost of a deluxe. I am so excited I cried when I was reading a trip report. Well I geusee I best make a to-do list from the ones I've seen I am far too relaxed. I have bought a bag full of ponchos and all kinds of meds- tummy and tylenol etc. Had a migraine last time. Really bad puked on a bus, thank goodness i had a disney bag with me and the lack of people aboard. So sad for the loss of the pretty plastic bag, but what can you say.

Anyways I am praying for no Migraines and happy times!!! & Zanax for my dad!

Welcome! My family is going the 1st through the 8th. We will be staying at POR. Medicines are one of the few things still on my list to get. I am waiting until next week because I will need to fill my DS's Prilosec then and will just pick up my migraine medicine and children's meds for headaches/fever and cold medicine then also. Last family trip we took DD ended up with a cold and so I am definitely taking cold medicine this time.

I made one of our stick family shirts just now to "test" it. It looks so good. Now I am printing off the other 4 stick family iron ons but they aren't looking so vibrant. I am hoping after sitting a couple days they will be better. But one messed up a bit but thats okay because it is going on mine or DH's shirt so its okay. I am hoping to have these stick family shirts done by the end of the week. I have everyone's t shirt washed already except mine because I had to order mine online since Walmart didn't have any red t shirts in my size left. I also need to wash everyone's whit shirts for the other iron on I plan to do.

Okay, here are a few photos of our countdown chart. It has three days marked off because I had to wait on DH to get back in town with my camera to get a decent photo.

We are using foam star stickers to cover numbers since I never cut out the X's. And we now have both ears covered and will cover the number 19 tomorrow morning.

Tnmom - I actually ate at AK at a counter service place. I'm trying to find the name of it online but it was near the tree of life, very colorful, and from what i remember not that crowded at all. I remember it was yummy... i got a breakfast pizza and i've been trying to recreate it at home but it just doesn't come out the same. hope that helps

Hmmm... Where did I put those fanny packs I bought the kids 8 months ago?

I was getting things gathered up today and putting the kids' trip goodie bags together and I can not find the fanny packs. They weren't big ones, just a small pouch (to carry a snack) and a water bottle pocket.

I have the goodies bags put together except those now.
