November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

My girlfriend and I have worked out a preliminary plan for our trip. We're not binding ourselves to any of this (we sort of prefer to decide what to do as we go), but this is sort of necessary because of the amount of people who may or may not want to go along with us.
In any case, I'm wondering what you guys think of this, and if you have any ideas about improving upon it.
Well here it is.....
Tuesday: I'm actually teaching three classes that day, after which we're taking a late-ish flight down. We figure to arrive at the Beach Club fairly late, so we're going to eat where we can and probably go to bed fairly early.
Wednesday: Cape May breakfast at 9.05.
Then I was thinking maybe Epcot?
California Grill at 5.55.
After dinner, we may linger in order to watch Wishes from the observation deck (9.00), or we're just going to go into the Magic Kingdom for their late hours or head to the Animal Kingdom for the Extra Magic Hours.
Thursday: Spoodles at 9.30.
I'm then hoping for a swim, after which we'll head to the coast for Thanksgiving dinner at my sister's.
When we return, we'll play it by ear. Maybe an extended swim or possibly a trip to Disney Quest.
Friday: My girlfriend wants to eat at Kona at least once, so we may try for that for breakfast.
Then maybe the Magic Kingdom? I don't know, I'm nervous about crowds on that day. But my niece will be there, and she may want to go.
Kona for dinner at 7.40, with the whole family.
Monorail to Epcot for EMH after dinner.
Saturday: Chef Mickey's at 10.00.
Possibly Blizzard Beach. Or perhaps Downtown Disney and a leisurely swim later in the day? CROWDS!!!!
Yauchtsman at 7.30.
Sunday: Possibly Rope Drop at Animal Kingdom, but I don't know if we'll have time, because.....
Boma at 10.00.
Then the Animal Kingdom.
Captain's Grill at 5.45, after which my sister's family is heading out.
Then Hollywood Studios for EMH. I so want to ride Tower of Terror at night!
Monday: Crystal Palace at 8.05 (a full 55 minutes before the park opens!)
Magic Kingdom.
Probably an afternoon swim
Then back to Narcoosee's for dinner at 7.10.
Then maybe more Magic Kingdom? EMH!
Tuesday: Kona for breakfast?
Maybe the monorail to Epcot after breakfast, or else maybe Blizzard Beach.
Le Cellier at 5.55.
Illuminations? Or possibly the California Grill lounge for the Christmas fireworks?
Possibly a late swim?
Wednesday: Hollywood Studios, at least for part of the day. May be a good opportunity for Toy Story Mania.
Brown Derby at 6.00
Possibly Pleasure Island? My girlfriend really wants to relax for a time at Raglan Road, as well.
Thursday: Whispering Canyon at 9.05.
Who knows.... Magic Kingdom? Downtown Disney? Disney Quest?
In any case, the girls have High Tea at the Grand Floridian at 3.40.
I'm going golfing (hopefully Osprey Ridge) on the twilight rate.
When I return, maybe Beaches and Cream for dinner.
Then maybe drinks (CG for Christmas fireworks instead this night?), possibly something else.
Friday: Kona for breakfast this day?
Magic Kingdom then Epcot (or hey, maybe we can fit in something from three parks?)
Chefs de France at 6.00.
Candlelight Procession.
Epcot EMH.
What a day!
Saturday: Animal Kingdom Rope Drop at 9.00.
Donald's breakfast at 10.00.
More Animal Kingdom.
Then maybe Epcot?
Flying Fish at 7.15.
Hopefully Magic Kingdom (open until midnight!)
Sunday: Sadness.
Breakfast. Maybe a swim. Perhaps something else.
Then a flight back to Albany. It is unlikely to be warm there.....

I'm ecstatic. Heading down to a conference for the American Council on Teaching Foreign Languages and staying a few extra days to play over Thanksgiving. Strangely enough, however, my DD 15 and my DH aren't interested in joining me. :confused3 I don't get it either, but it's not stopping me! Staying at the Dolphin the entire time and looking forward to some great networking and inspirational workshops, then some fun, fun, fun!

I've got 5 months 1 week & 1 day still to go.
We have just about everything planned that we wanted to plan for now,:goodvibes
it's the waiting thats killing me , i hate waiting :bitelip:

I am down to 130+ days...but I have watched my ticker go down from over a year to 4 months and so many weeks now. I think being in school and being so busy with other stuff has helped the time pass so quickly.

I can't wait till i can shout out load & do the DD dance :rotfl:

Okay, saw this on another post: http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html

According to that site here is the breakdown of how long until we leave:

From and including: Thursday, June 19, 2008
To, but not including : Saturday, November 1, 2008

It is 135 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date

Or 4 months, 13 days excluding the end date
Alternative time units
135 days can be converted to one of these units:

* 11,664,000 seconds
* 194,400 minutes
* 3240 hours
* 19 weeks (rounded down)

I'm still waiting for SW to post their November airfares so I can figure out if we're flying or driving!

The only other thing we need to purchase is our parkhopper passes.

Come on November!!:goodvibes

I have an edit for you to do on the list. My dates are the same, but I have switched resorts to the WL.

I like the 19 weeks version! It somehow makes it seem a little closer.

Anything to make WDW seem closer is good. :thumbsup2

I've been busy planning not only this trip (which I think I'm pretty done with planning now), but helped a friend whose going next month with her trip, my DD is getting married next Sept and honeymooning at WDW, so I've been packing up info on that and DH & I are already planning our couple trip for next October. :hyper:

I need more folders.....

its 144 days until our trip cant wait till i can do the dd dance!!

dh has just brought our Ap's as we are also planning on going may/june next year and at the same time booked our tickets for the MVMCP.

we are going on the 20th November, anyone else planning on going that night??

I more or less have our itineary completely sorted out, and after looking at UGs crowd planned they have lowered the crowd levels for the weeks we are going to be there:banana:

Life is pretty good at the moment!!

Hope everone has a great weekend.

Very sad time today a cousin of mine passed away last nite in her sleep. She was 35 single mom with 2 children age 10 and 2. The 10 year old son just had his birthday this past week. Please say a prayer or two for the family.

I just booked my dream WDW vacation 3 days ago!! I've only ever gone on vacations there with family or my best friend, but this time I'm taking my boyfriend of 2 years!! We're going Nov 6-11, and staying at AKL (just a standard view, but I've never stayed there and I'm still soooo excited!!)

As I've been reading through some of the November threads on DIS, I've noticed a lot of talk about Jersey Week, and it's making me kind of nervous. I booked those date thinking crowds would be light as most people will have children in school. My bf hasn't been since he was about 8, so I wanted this trip to be kinda light on huge crowds so we could enjoy the magic more... now I'm questioning if I should switch my dates??

Anyone have any thoughts? I'm I just freaking out for no reason?
