November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

I need 7 dinners for our trip. The only lunch I'm planning is Pinnochio Haus for those Figaro Fries. Never had 'em; wanna eat 'em. So far dinner picks are:

Spirit of Aloha show
Sci Fi
Coral Reef (we'll eat steak, it's the atmosphere I want to see!)

I'd like to do the California Grill to see the Fireworks but I'm not totally set on that yet. I was also thinking Boatwrights & Boma. Too many restaurants to choose from

If we do Coral Reef, I will be eating Steak also. DH and DD are the only two who might get seafood. Neither of my Ds(s) like seafood too much so I suppose they would get chicken or steak. Like you, its the atmosphere I am going for.

Booked it a few weeks ago-

November 4th through the 10th staying offsite in a villa

Is this your first trip .
We have never stayed on site . We have always stayed off site in 3 bed Villas, at Davenport and Clermont.:woohoo:

We will be there November 12th through the 16th! We are staying at the All-Stars Movies.

My friend and I got together and sort of mapped out our trip, waiting on the EMH to finalize. We are planning on going to:
Jiko (an adult only meal maybe!), Le Cellier, Ohana for the Best friends breakfast, San Angel Inn, and the Yak and Yeti. We need someplace for Thanksgiving dinner, so I'm waiting for that info to come out also. Maybe Ohana if it looks similar to last year's offering.:thumbsup2

So, how about pictures of you all. I will post pictures of my children and DH tomorrow if I have time to get on the desktop where my photos are. Or I will check on photobucket and see if I have any recent ones on it. My avatar is me :)

No- I lived in FL as a kid, and then as a teen my grandma lived there, so I've been more times than I can count.

October 2007 was the first trip for me with my kids and DH- we had a blast- a lot has changed since the early 1990s LOL

We are *considering* a Marriott timeshare purchase....

Good luck with the planning of this trip and wish you luck with finding the right timeshare :thumbsup2
Are you going to do any ADR's .

Yes- but not as many as last time- it took up a lot of time and our kids are at very impatient ages :) Last time we did too a day *whew* I'm tried just remembering it!!

This time we will do one a day and then counter service the rest of the day. I have been planning my ADRs for months- now I just have to wait a little more to try to get them

Did you all see the increase in price of renting Disney strollers?

Fees:

$15.00 for single - $13.00 per day for Length of Stay rental

$31.00 for double - $27.00 per day for Length of Stay rental

Yep. I've been reading the posts about it here. Thankfully I wasn't planning on renting one. My youngest is way too big for them. He is not too much smaller than his almost 11 year old sister!

Can anyone tell what the ave temp in November? I really want to plan a trip for my daughter and me, but don't want it to be too cold.....I break out in hives if I get too cold and just don't want to deal with that in my favorite place!

Yes, I really do. I apparently am allergic to cold weather.

That was according to one of the weather websites. It is sometimes in the 80's.

last november it was 70-80 during the day but the evenings did get cold so make sure you have a jumper of coat for late nights.
