Hi Nancy, I've yet to receive my package of socks. Hopefully will arrive within the next day or two. Will let everyone know when I receive it, and a description of the rather "sockish" contents. Unfortunately this will be my last exchange for a little while, as I'm saving for our trip in Feb/09, and I've decided to save for a better Sony SLR camera for our trip. It doesn't help that the CDN dollar is weaker against the USD, which means that it's costing me more to save USD for the trip (grumble, grumble, grumble!) Have a great day!!

Hi Nancy, sorry to say, but nothing to report on the SOCK front. This weekend is a long weekend for us, as it's the CDN thanksgiving, and will be going out of town till Tues morning. So if it's going to arrive, the next possible day is Tues. Have a great CDN thanksgiving!

Sender is going to check her DC and resend if needed.
She can't do shopping until later in the week, so it may be a bit still.

Good morning.

If those socks are crossing the border into Canada you might want to be patient depending on how long ago they were mailed.

Sometimes things take a bit longer to arrive.

They might be held up in a backlog at customs

they are coming from the US....mailed on the 29th, so 2 weeks ago. Sender does have DC.....she is going to check on it.

Now, if it were a package that were coming to me, I'd probably say to hang on for another week and see if it shows up.

That's just me of course.

I have learned that sometimes these things take time, more time that you would have expected.

Like the time I could have driven an exchange package to it's destination myself in less than 3 hours and it took about 3 weeks for it to get there

Just to let everyone know that all is not lost on the sock front!! I finally received my rather socky package from Melinda (aka Mnm.Rain) today. I received 11 pairs of socks!

1 pr brown, pink and green slipper socks
1 pr black and grey slipper socks
1 pr black socks with fruit on them
1 pr black socks with a rather spooky ghost
1 pr white socks with a pumpkin and a black cat
1 pr black socks with a large USA on them
1 pr white socks with cherries
1 pr dark pink socks with flowers and greenery
1 pr blue and pink socks with flowers
1 pr of white socks with hearts
and finally a pr of white socks with funky orange flowers

Thanks Melinda for such a great socky package. I love all the socks and thanks for all the thought you put into the package!
