We are going to WDW in November, just my DD10 and myself, how do our plans look?

Day 1) Plane lands at 2:30pm, pick up by town car then check into Disney Resort. Watch Wishes from Poly, then over to WL for PS at WCC, catch EWP afterwards.

Day 2) EE at Epcot, at some point switch to AK and catch 4pm parade, then over to MGM for Fantasmic (if we are up to it).

Day 3) EE at MK, head over to Epcot, afternoon PS for Ice Cream Social, stay for Illuminations.

Day 4) Sleep in, go to Typhoon Lagoon. Go back to resort, in the late afternoon go over to FW, check out the petting zoo, eat at Trail’s End and go to campfire and movie.

Day 5) EE at MGM, PS at Prime Time, watch 3:30pm parade. Go to MK, catch Spectro & Wishes.

Day 6) Another sleep in day and the day off, maybe shop at DD.

Day 7) EE at AK, be over to MK in time for 3pm parade, stay for Spectro & Wishes.

Day 8) Mid-morning pick-up for ride back to airport.

Does it look like I can use our time better anywhere? One question I have is which tickets to buy… I had planned to get a 4 day PH, but now wonder if I should do the 5 day PH? I have old tickets with a plus left on them that we planned to use for TL, but we don’t have to go there. Maybe we should spend another day in the parks? I don’t know… we do plan to stay in the parks from open to close each day, so the down days will be nice.

What do you think, is this a schedule that can be done? Would you make any changes? TIA

You are going to have so much fun!!! My dd and I did this last Dec and we are going again, just the two of us, in June. As to what passes to buy. I'm a big fan of buying a pass with one more day on it than you think you'll use. If you get a 4 day PH then that's it. Get a 5 day pass and you have the option of going to a park on a day you hadn't planned to. You have a lot of skipping around going on. You may find that to be a pain. I have done two parks a day, and then redone a park or two later in the trip. I think that visiting more than 2 a day is hard. And even 2 a day can be tough. I would plan on 1/2 days in each park. Even in Nov it's nice to go back to the resort and kick back for a bit. Especially if you'll be at the Polynesian. You can just hop a boat or the monorail to MK, take the pathway over to TTC and grab the monorail to Epcot. And they have a nice pool there too. I personally don't like to stay at the water parks later than noon. It gets congested by 11 or so. So, we go to a park that afternoon.
Keep in mind that no matter what we may say or do or tell you is the best way to tour....it's all a matter of what you want to do and what you think works best for your group. So, have a great trip, enjoy the time with your dd.

Thanks! I think I am leaning towards the 5 day PH, that way even if we decide not to use it we will have it for future trips... oh wait, that would mean I would have to plan a future trip ::yes::

Most days we will only be in 2 parks, on day 2 we have 3 down, but will only go to MGM if we feel like it. We have already seen Fantasmic in the past, so not going to knock ourselves out to get there. The other days I planned the park hopping to hopefully see most of the parades and etc... along with taking advantage of EE days. We won't be staying at the Poly, just going there to watch Wishes before dinner that evening. Our original plan had been to do 1 park a day and try to see everything we could, then move to another park the next day, but making PS's changed that. I wasn't able to get the days I wanted, so we re-arranged a bit and came up with this.

I did dig out my old PHP tickets and have another question... we bought the 7 day PHP in 99, and did not use any of the plus options. In 2002, we used 2 plus options from each ticket, leaving 2 on each ticket. When we bought the tickets, DD was 5 years old, she is now 10 (which means adult ticket this trip)... do I need to do anything to use the old plus for her ticket? Can she use it or do I need to update it?

TIA

Sounds like an awesome trip!!::yes::
I'm not sure but I think that as long as the same person uses the pass you will not need to upgrade it. To be sure I would ask a CSR at your hotel.
