Nov Park Hours--Am I Seeing Things?

Just went to the WDW site and saw MK park hours for November, and Fridays and Saturdays were showing 9AM-10PM. Did I read that right???

That would be awesome!

Nope, I saw it too. I think the Saturday thing was the way it was last year when we were there but the Friday and Sunday hours were kind of a surprise.

The November hours are messing with my head LOL. I still have September hours stuck there since we were supposed to be there right now!

The week we're going 11/12-11/18 looks like the MK is only open till 10 one night, Saturday the 13th. It shows 9pm for the 12th and after that it's either 8 or 7 closing the rest of the week.

Course it's going to be Super Soap weekend and also the end of Food and Wine so I guess that may effect the schedule. But it looks like the week of Thanksgiving MK is open till 10 every night! Must be to allow for bigger crowds.

Hey Ms. Laren--Love your Bajoran screen name!

We will arrive on 11/13, and our tradition is to have an early (5 PM) dinner at 'Ohana and then take the monorail to MK for the evening. We usually get lots of rides done while others are watching the parade or staggering out of the park. Last year, we arrived on the same Saturday and MK was only open until 8 PM, so 10 PM is a huge bonus for us!

We're planning on being at MK late, also. We are going to just wander around our first day since we have UPH's, and go to whatever DD wants! (Alladin's carpet is 1st on her list!) We're having dinner at CP at 5:40 ( never eaten dinner that early!) and then we'll try and watch the FW, unless it is really crowded. Then, we'll go back to the Poly and relax.

I was wondering about that myself. Any ideas as to why DAK is open until 8 pm on those few nights? Anything special going on?

Usually the hours get later, when the attendance numbers start going up. I suspect that resort occupancy must be at or near capacity. Rare for this time of year, but possible. Having later hours is not always a plus. Give me an 8:00 PM closing with low crowd capacity anytime. Maybe there are several conferences going on also, that usually affects one park or another.
