nites, Nov24-Dec3 should I book a room only or package? Can I upgrade to a package later if we decide thru WDWT? We overlap value season with regular season. I could book two room only reserv. but if we want a package we need to book differently. also considering dining plan? HELP PLEASE!! I think we'll stay at the POP to save money, its a long way from CANADA!!

I think as long as your vacation starts in value season that you get that rate for your entire stay! Price out the separate components of the package and see if you can save that way! Have a great vacation! :)

we arrive in "regular season" Can we upgrade to a pgk if we book a room only rate now? Which way is easier to make changes to further down the road when codes are out?

I'm pretty sure you can upgrade to a package(I can't see Disney ever refusing to take your money LOL). Many codes are room only so it may not make a difference. Upgrading to a package will come with more restrictions such as the cancellation policy so be aware of that. I would book room only and check out the REPUTABLE online ticket brokers such as Ticketmania and Mapleleaf Tickets. HTH. :goodvibes

Hello! I am kind of in the same boat as you. We are going from Nov. 25th - Dec. 5th. With that time frame I chose to go with a room only reservation for Nov. 25th - Nov. 27th. From Nov. 27th - Dec. 5th we have the package reserved. If you schedule a package for the entire time you will be charged the regular season the entire stay. Since we are flying the day after Thanksgiving, I didn't want to get the package in case our flight is delayed for any reason. The first night we plan to visit the Trail's End Buffet in FW which is supposed to be a cheaper meal. The next day we plan to eat at the food court for breakfast and counter service the rest of the day. They also put it in the reservation that we are a continuing reservation. They said that we should be able to stay in the same room, but I will have to go through the check-out/check-in process. The extra savings are well worth it to me! As far as adding the package, also realize that packages have to be paid in full 45 days before travelling. I'm not sure if there is a time limit in which you have to book by.
