We also are new to the DCL experience......and super excited!!!! I requested to join the FB page, but would love to join the new fish extender list, if possible. If its too late, no worries....but I'd love to know other families before we set sail. We have a 11 year old son, who turns 11 on Friday the 22nd, and an 8 year old daughter, Eli and Jillian. Any advice would be great!

I think it is fantastic you get to take your dog with you !!
I imagine the logistics of having an animal onboard during an at sea day can get a little messy. I'm sure you have a system for that. How interesting.

We are cruising for Thanksgiving! We cruise for Easter as well so I have been so focused on that that I forgot to hop on this page too! We are in a gyt room so no number yet but I would love to join the FE group if it's still open!
It will be myself (Lauren) and my two kids, Ellie will be 8 and Jacob will be 5.

Hi all --
We are booking this cruise as I speak. Was doing the Magic at Christmas, and ran into some issues so had to change the cruise date. Decided to do Fantasy at Thanksgiving. I will be sailing with my daughter - who just turned 18, and my son, who turns 21 the first week of December. So it's a celebration for both of them. It's their Birthday and Christmas present. Was glad my daughter decided it as ok to change the cruise date.

Hopefully I can be added. Have a lot of my stuff started for the one at Christmas, so will just switch it over to that one. Will try and join the Facebook group too.

We just booked 2 weeks ago at a whim! I feel so far behind. Trying to catch up! We have been on 5 DCL cruises. New to the fantasy with my DH, DS(Turns 17 on the cruise), and DD(13)! I have also sent a request to the FB group!!!

I am afraid so. We cut the latecomers list off last month. If you joined the Facebook group they have a little group of LATE latecomers that are exchanging, but I am not organizing that one.

Well - we leave in 8 days. We cut the main Fish Extender list off at the beginning of September. Then we had a latecomers group and the list was cut off at the end of October. There is a very small group of LATE latecomers that is being organized on our Facebook page. Here's the link.

What a great cruise! Seven days was enough for us, though! We had a magical time and the crew and CMs were amazing considering the amount of people they greeted every day! The FE exchange was fun - thank you everyone! A special thank you to Susan!! This was her 2nd Disney cruise and she did an outstanding job organizing this exchange for us!! Thank you!!! This was our 4th Thanksgiving Disney cruise, so we're going to try some new adventures for the future! Have a wonderful Christmas! Hugs from Wanda and Elizabeth!! - Riverview, Fl

Just wondering how many of you ordered the Lobster Tail on Thanksgiving. I did and was very disappointed with it. It said baby shrimp butter, which to me meant baby shrimp in butter, but when it came out there was red stuff on it, too. The red stuff was spicy hot. I sent it right back and our table mate sent hers back too. I had been so looking forward to having Lobster Tail for my birthday dinner. It took 3 tries before our Head Server was able to bring out tails with nothing on them. The first time they brought it back without the shrimp but it still had the hot stuff on it. By the time the plain ones came, everyone at our table was almost finished eating & I had an upset stomach because I was sooo hungry and upset. I couldn't even finish one.

Was anyone else who ordered it disappointed like me. I did go down to guest services the next day and asked to see the menu to see for myself that it wasn't mentioned anywhere that it was spicy or hot & then I explained what had happened. They tried to blame it on our waitstaff for no telling us it was spicy. Our waitstaff said they had never seen it made that way before and I believe them because this was the first time in all our cruises I have seen this either & nowhere in the menu description did it say anything.
