Nov,20th, 2011 Mexico

Only on my 2nd load of wash, much more to come. Had to break down and actually cook dinner. Hope the dishes will magically get washed. I tried to call room service but no one answered. I'm still swaying, those last couple of nights were rough. My DD got sick on Tuesday  and had to visit the ship Dr (not cheap, even though he mis-diagnosed her) She's a trooper and made the best of it, with swollen glands and a slight fever. She was thrilled everytime she found a surprise in the FE. Thanks again! (Special thanks to Wests4Disney and Collectoraholic-you spoiled us!) What's with my counter? Looks like we're cruising again next Thanksgiving! (NOT)

Is that Violet from the beat box show?

Though we were too late for the FE, really appreciated all the advice in this thread. Did notice quite a few doors as we explored. post up pics of your doors when you get a chance.

Agree about tons of things to do. Kids preferred all the fun outside the oceaneers lab so didn't get much adult fun. Now my 9 year old is crying about how much she misses the Wonder :-(

Well that was the longest trip back from Southern Ca. It took us almost 15 hrs to get home. The traffic on 5 was bumper to bumper most of the way. It opened up at the Tracy y. Finding a bathroom for the kids was a nightmare.

On a happy note. The cruise was nice. Thank you to all who did the FE exchange. It was alot of fun. I hope you enjoyed your gift. It was fun comming back to the cabin and finding something there. Now if I can keep from spinning today, that would be great.

We too had a long trip home, not as long as yours Chicogirl, but a 4 1/2 hour trip took about 7 hours. We too had a great time participating in the FE. Bummer, I forgot to take a picture of our doors and FEs. Thanks so much to all who participated in the FE. Each of the gifts were fun to receive and some of them came at the exact time for things that we were in need of. Even with all of the planning, I still forgot a few things and luckily you were able to provide those things for us :-). Thanks for the gifts and the memories.

Can't wait to go on another cruise. We put a deposit on a cruise for 2013. Holding out until those dates and itineraries come out. Can't wait to have the next cruise to look forward to.

Yes, she was in the beat box show! She'll be thrilled to be remembered from it!!! That was a fun highlight! She totally misses the wonder, too. She made a book about it for memories and to share at school. :teacher:

We had a wonderful time and I think I've been spoiled to any other cruise line after this! Thanks to all the generous FE givers that gave to my boys even though we were too late to participate in the exchange! I was sad to disembark and still wish I were on the Wonder! Nothing booked yet but I'm sure we will be back!!! Thanks again to all of you that made this cruise even more special!!!
We got stuck in LAX for about 6 hours until our flight which was tedious, and my younger one was sick the whole day. He picked up hand, foot and mouth virus sometime on the ship (just be aware if your child gets sick with a rash that it was apparently going around). He's home from school for most of this week but feeling better than he was!
Anyway, thanks to all of you that helped make it an even better vacation! I can hardly wait until we go on another Disney cruise!!!:wizard:

Hi Everyone!

We also want to thank everyone for the fantastic FE gifts! We felt so spoiled and it was amazing that we, literally, had something in our FE almost every time we went to the cabin!

Our FE had to be "reinvented" at the last moment as our original idea came up with a snag!:confused3

We enjoyed meeting several of you and hope to see you on future cruises. :hippie:

We stayed an extra day at D-Land as we have gone through the hellacious travel on the Sunday after Thanksgiving before and NEVER want to do that again! It was 85 on Sunday in the parks and close to 80 when we left on Monday. Cold and foggy in NorCal now, but at least we have finally stopped swaying ;)

Hope everyone had as Magical of a time as we did!

After a 6 hour wait in LAX to get on the plane to get home, I think I have learned my lesson about traveling on the Sunday after Thanksgiving! Our time would have been much better spent at D-land and my kids could've missed a day of school! I'm still swaying a little... getting back my land legs!
Thanks everyone for such wonderful surprises in our FE!! Can hardly wait to do it again!!!:sail:
