We are now down to 2 months and 1 week left, or to make it easy, 68 days. Ya! And just a reminder, the cut off day to join is September 15 th.

I have a couple more FE's to package, and then I'm done. So far I also Made shirts for all 9 people in my family that are going. Magnets for all three rooms, and personalized tote bags for the girls in my family group. Wow, I will need a vacation soon. Ha
Can't wait to see ya all there!!

We're driving also. Are you parking at the port or staying in a local hotel on a park & cruise package. BTW, I thought with the name Chicogirl, you'd be from Chicago. Would that really be Chico, CA?

Yes, I'm from Chico ca, and we will leave on the 19 th stay at a hotel, and leave the car at port. I worried about my car at a hotel for a week. I'll feel better with it being secure at port. It will be a 10 hour drive, with stops. With 2 girls, you know they will stop often.

Even thought we are 1/2 hour away from port, last cruise we stayed at DoubleTree and left the car there for 10 nights. A lot of our DIS group did the same.

My TA says this is the dining schedule (subject to change) she got from DCL, different from previously posted:
Day 1: cruise casual
Day 2:formal night (prince & princess menu)
Day 3: cruise casual
Day 4: cruise casual
Day 5: Pirate night
Day 6: semi-formal
Day 7: cruise casual

That would make Pirate Night fall on Thanksgiving, so that is strange. Never dressed up as a pirate for Thanksgiving dinner.

And I talked to Disney, and was told there were 3 rotations for dinning. This is because they could not fit all of us in the same place at once.

We chose rotation 2. Or should I say, we ASKED for rotation 2. The girls love AP.

What you need is a cruise car. Many people have a train or plane car that they leave at the train station or airport that they don't mind getting wrecked.

Always 3 dining rotations. I asked for PTA, which should put me in Tritons for formal night, and on Thanksgiving.

B/C it is a holiday cruise, DCL has a different dining schedule (with the extra semi-formal night thrown in) than the rest of the MR cruises. The one I posted earlier in the thread was what I was given by DCL when I called and asked. She originally gave me what you've posted and then said "Oh wait, this is the Thanksgiving cruise on Nov. 20th, right? That has a different schedule...let me give that to you." & What I posted was what I was given for the Nov. 20th Thanksgiving cruise.

I'll post it again here so ppl. don't have to go back thru the thread to find what I was told by DCL.

Just finished getting the shore excursions set and my DS and I will be learning to cook in PV. Then, my DS, DD, and DGS will be zip-lining while my DW and I are on the Jeep adventure in Cabo. A couple of brunches at Palo to top the whole trip off.

Happy to help! Just wanted to make sure everyone has the correct info so they can pack accordingly. & Shop accordingly. I spent my afternoon yesterday shopping on-line for my girls. Yeah!!! Looks like I only have to make 1 more set of things, will be able to pack up and get ready for the FE. Can't wait to be on our trip! Port excursions ready, packing lists printed, all of the thoughts and tips getting organized. Seems like it has been so long in the planning, that it feels almost like it is impossible to believe that it is actually going to happen.

What a day. I was finishing the tote bag for niece, and realized I really oops. I had printed Disney Wonder to iron on the tote. I thought I checked the print, and after peeling off the iron on, the Disney was up side down. Now I have to go back to Michaels for a new tote, and print up another iron on. Well I won't make that mistake again!
