We are definitely in for the FE! Just ordered the hanging fish extender today. We are traveling with a non DIS family and I will be checking with them this week to see if they'd like to participate as well.

Now I have a few questions regarding FE gifts. Do people usually give things geared towards the kids or do most people do two things, something for the kids and another thing for the adults?

We give a family gift per stateroom. It is just easier.

I was reading different threads, and I am pretty sure that the Wonder will be decorated for the holidays My family was excited about that. We just loved all the magical Christmas decorations aboard.

We may do an excursion in Cabo. We are thinking about the pool excursion at a resort. Has anybody done this exursion before? My DD wants to do the dolphin excursion again. She also really wants to do a teen only excursion. In 08 she did a teen cruise in PV, but it is a different time. There is only a teen surfing excursion (not sure about if I am a fan of that), and with the unrest in Mexico lately, I want her with us!

I am busying getting ready for our NYC trip. It is going to be an honor to be in NY on the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11th. We are also going to see "How to Succeed in Business" with Daniel Radcliff.

In Cabo in April, we did the ATV/Horseback riding. We booked through www.johann-sandra.com . So fun! Even DD (6 at the time) had a blast.

My kids start school on Wednesday so I am sure this time will fly by! The kids still don't know we are going. I think I am going to tell them we are going to go see the Lion King in 3D on that Sunday. My IL's will drive us and they will just think they are going with us. We saw Toy Story 3 at the El Capitan so driving a longer distance for a movie will not raise questions. I'm sure the Lion King will be playing in 3D on board so I'm technically not lying. LOL

Now I have to remember where I put our FE. I know I put it somewhere where that I knew I wouldn't lose it...!

Grace starts school on Tuesday and we are going to Disneyland after school. That is when we are telling Grace and her friend (who will also be on this cruise) that we are joining them for some Thanksgiving Wonder. Until then, she has no clue.

Let me check w/ the fam and let you know. Since my husband and I will be doing the 7-night sailing the week before on the Magic and then flying from FL, back home to pick up our girls and then head straight to LA from there, I don't know if we'll have room to tote FE stuff. Can I let you know for sure this week sometime? I know we'd like to try to do a FE sometime, but I'm just know sure if we can swing it for this time or not. Just let me know if I can tell you soon. 11/24 (Thurs./Thanksgiving): Cabo--Semi-Formal

& I am starting to count the days...haven't totally gotten a handle on it since I just booked this cruise like 3 or 4 days ago.

& One other little tid-bit I got from DCL is the 3 dining rotations that will be on this particular cruise:

Rotation #1: TAPATPT
Rotation #2: APTPATA
Rotation #3: PTATPAP

I think they are a bit different than the 'regular' MR cruise dining rotations due to it being the Thanksgiving Cruise. That's what I was told anyway.

Thanks, good info. Now I can start planning. Surprised that there are 2 semi-formals. I was on the 10 nt. and it seems like there was 1 formal and 1 semi-formal (but I could be wrong.) Excited to hear that it will have holiday decorations.

Disney chooses the rotation but you can put in a request directly through DCL or through your TA. IT is just that though, a request. We just upgraded to concierge a couple weeks ago so I am hoping when I call that they will be able to accommadate my request.

Last Feb, after we ate lunch, we took the kids by to see the kids clubs and by the time they were done with that, the room was ready (about 2pm.) There was plenty of time to unpack and freshen up before the muster drill and the sail away party. We had early seating as well but we just freshened up and wore what we had on to dinner that night.

Same here. PC is my least fave, so I put in a request for Rotation #1/TAPATPT and have booked Palo on the 2nd Semi-Formal night. That gets us out of PC for one night and we don't have to dress up on a casual night b/c it is a semi-formal night instead. Yea me! LOL! So hopefully our request will be granted!

I just booked our Palo and spa stuff and was pleasantly surprised that I could book both brunch & dinner @ Palo; getting the days and times we wanted. Spa stuff too!

Oh boy this has been a long day in front of a computer. So far I've done magnets for three rooms,made 9 transfers for t-shirts, printed travel log books for the kids, and made gift tags. My poor printer has had a work out. I think I'm almost done with the printer. And I only have a few more FE's to package. That is in less more join. Ya I'm almost done!!
