I need some help... I have seen talk on some of the trips about FE but not paid attention to what it is. What is the FE thing?

Have you noticed that our cruise is not full, there is even a one bedroom still open. Not that I mind.. It would be nice for my first cruise to not be full. All I really hope is that no one gets sea sick, and every one has fun.

I'm hoping to get first or at least last names for our gift exchange...I would like to put names on some of the gifts..If you would rather not that's ok to.

And at some point, not sure when room numbers.

The last cruise we were on was full, but it didn't really seem that crowded. So having it less than full might seem empty. Might be a good opportunity for port upgrades.

For us, DH = Jud, DW = Anne, DD = Bree, DS = Brandon, and DGS = Tyler. Rooms are 6142 (DH and DW) and 6140 (DD, DS, and DGS). As the room numbers may change depending on how generous the port upgrades are, I guess we can confirm them at the DIS meet and greet after boarding.

Hey! Just put this cruise on hold with the Kids Sail Free promo. Still debating whether to go ahead and confirm. Just noticed that it actually stops in Cabo twice?? Is there plenty of stuff to do in Cabo, we will be traveling with our two kids son and daughter who will be both ten at the time of travel. Thanks for any input in helping make the decision. It is a bit more in price than other weeks in November but I wont have to take them out of school as long and would be nice to be cruising over Thanksgiving!

Traveling with my 10 year old grandson and he will probably be very happy spending the time in Oceaneer's Lab/Club. When we took him on the 5-night cruise in the Med, he stayed on board while we cruised the streets of Nassau and was very happy to do so. I have browsed some of the trip reports for our cruise earlier this year and didn't really see anything kid-specific except for time on the beach.

From what I received in the mail, we are not "stopping" in Cabo twice, we will BE in Cabo for two consecutive days. Or do we have to leave and circle in the ocean overnight to return the next day?

I just booked this cruise yesterday. It will be our 2nd Disney cruise. We are going to Alaska on the Wonder on June 21st - less than 3 weeks from now!! My kids have NO idea about the Alaskan cruise. They think we are spending 12 days in Canada. We are going to Whistler for Father's Day then will just show up at the port Tuesday morning. I did tell them about this cruise and they are very excited to be going on their "first" cruise!! Our group consists of me, DW Jennifer, DH Tom, DS Ryan (11) and DD Jessica (9). It will be my birthday on Nov 23. We spent the week of Thanksgiving last year at Disneyland and it was so nice to not have to cook all day!! We are hoping to do the FE on this cruise - not doing it in Alaska since the whole thing is a surprise for the kids. There is a small chance we will have to reschedule if my DH can't get enough time off from work. Hopefully that won't happen!!

I just booked this cruise today!! Being here in So CA combined with the kids sail free offer was enough for me to schedule this cruise during the kids Thanksgiving break from school. It will be me, Christina, with my 3 kids, ds8, ds6 and dd4. I will be keeping this cruise, as well as the MR cruise I have planned for spring break next year, a huge secret from the kids!

I also found out that the two port visit Cabo is not an overnight visit. The ship must leave port and return the next day. I guess it will just do donuts in the Pacific until morning.
