Nov. 16 2013 7-night Fantasy Eastern Carribean Cruise

Hello everyone -

I have a lot of catching up to do. We will be joining you and this cruise. This is our 3rd Disney Cruise and 2nd aboard the Fantasy. Our first FE experience was aboard the Fantasy last November and it was amazing! I look forward to meeting all of you in the coming weeks and months!

Our first FE and last cruise back in November the list contained 60 staterooms for some. It took 2 days to get the gifts all out. We needed a small suite case just to carry them all back home. I like the idea of smaller groups. IMO 25 would of been perfect.

This will be our 6th Disney Cruise but our first time on the Fantasy. Looking forward to trying one of the new larger ships!

A friend did the Fantasy last year and his FE group was 70. I just couldn't see doing that and wanted to keep it more manageable. This should be fun. Large enough that you get at least one or two gifts a day but small enough that you don't need to spend two days delivering gifts! We're on the cruise to relax and have fun and 70 staterooms doesn't sound fun or relaxing to me. LOL. Glad everyone is "on board" with splitting the list.

Thank you for keeping it manageable. I also agree with the 20-25 range. It's makes it easier to do something extra special without breaking the bank!

We'll go on shore when we are at St. Thomas and St. Maarten, but our activities will mostly consist of looking around and doing a little shopping. We might check out a beach. But we're not really beach people. Our boys probably won't even leave the ship. (They're 19 and 16)

Just made our pre-cruise resort reservations. I'm in full-on Disney planning mode, I LOVE IT! Don't love having to wait 6.5 months... but I LOVE knowing it's coming!! :

Love keeping up on the Facebook page. It is easier. We'll arriving at WDW 5 days before the cruise. Really looking forward to getting away. I so need this vacation. My 94 year old dad lives with us and he has dementia and the daily care giving is really taking a toll on me.

5 Days of WDW Magic before the cruise will be amazing! We'll have 3... I already feel a "little" bad taking the kids out of school for 8 days, can't do much more than that. We'll take a flight in Tuesday evening and do parks Wed-Fri.

You are a saint to have you father live with you! My grandmother lived with my mom until she was in her 90's and my mom was no longer able to care for her (she then moved to an apartment with a full-time caregiver until she passed away at 96). I know how exhausting that was for my Mom, and she didn't even have dementia. You deserve 2 weeks of rest and Disney!

For those of you who are beer aficionados, when you get to St. Maarten, look up the Heineken Pilsner (NOT the lager). It is a sweeter beer than you are used to if you drink the lager. Can't get it stateside, and a case of the 8oz (give or take...maybe 7oz) is easy to come by at any grocery/beverage store.

Any thoughts on independent excursions yet? We usually hit Orient for the day...

Hey everyone! We have been booked on this one for awhile now but with it getting closer, I thought I should start reading up. I'm curious as to what there is to do at the ports. They are going to be beautiful. Can't wait to see CC!!! This will be our third Disney Cruise but both others have been on the Wonder so we are looking forward to sailing on the Fantasy!!! It will be me, my DH, and our DD (11). Last time there was a group of 10 of us but this time we are traveling alone. Looking forward to reading all of your posts!
