We're looking at the same time frame. We've been in Oct and early Dec but never Nov. Looks like the first party last year was the 8th and Osborne lights started then as well.

This year it's predicted the first MVMCP and Osborne Lights will begin on Friday, Nov. 7th.

We go almost every year that week, its an amazing time at WDW. Just dont tell anyone. Benefits?
1. Lines are very short, we were able to ride every ride at least 3 times ( or more!)
2. Good prices
3. Great weather, be prepared for a cold snap thou.
4. Christmas decor is hit or miss, the parks will have it for the most part. Resorts may or may not. Poly was not decorated this year but was all past years...
5. Did I mention low crowds??

The xmas party is a nice way to extend a park day and get alot of rides with short lines.

I recommend arriving the Sunday before Veterans Day and avoid EP till Wednesday.

Thank you! We are also coming from the north so it doesn't have to be tropical but swimming and shorts in the afternoon would be great.
