:surfweb: :santa: I know the MVMCP starts the 12th but will decorations parades, shows be up even if we dont do MVMCP? or will we have to go to MVMCP to see holiday perks so early in Nov?

We were there last November, from the 11-18. Most of the holiday decorations were up (the trees, etc.). I read on here that people said they were only "half up", but it seemed really holiday to me and not like it was missing anything. The Osborne Lights were playing, Epcot was fully decorated- to me it was about as Christmas as it could get.

We were there 11/6 - 11/13 in 2002, and I don't remember there being any holiday decorations up yet.

We will be there from the 9th to around the 17th.:cool1: We are going at that time just to see what Christmas is like there.
Doing a two night AKL in a couple weeks.
Very excited!

I'll be at the BCV 11/9-16 celebrating my 50th birthday on the 13th

Mon - Norway princess brkfst, MVMCP
Tues - Yacht Galley brkfst for birthday mimosa, Dolphins in Depth tour
Wed - segway

I believe they have some decorations out, they have to so it will feel like Christmas during MVMCP. I hope so thats why we are going then. I do remember some decorations when we went in Nov before. They have to start that early look how much they need to do

You just missed the decorations that year because me and DH were married at the WP on 11/11/2002 and we saw them literally go up overnight...the 16th we went to bed and when we woke up on the 17th the decorations were all over the place. I only remember the dates because we left the very next day. We were kind of bummed because we just missed having the Christmas decor in our wedding photos. We still marvel at how everything changed overnight. :worship:

Years ago they used to decorate practically overnight. I can remember being in MK the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and it was decorate like normal. The next day, everything was Christmas. Course, that was when the Christmas party was a dinner show and not a party in the MK.

We were there last year for MNSSHP. We stayed from 10/29 through 11/5. I was surprised that by Saturday, 11/4 - there were loads of decorations up for MK. AK was decorated even before that - and playing Christmas music (I mean Halloween was literally just over!). MGM was previewing the Osbourne lights that night (we couldn't stay 'cause we were headed to Le Cellier). The only park that had just really begun to set up was Epcot (the trestle was just starting to be put up).

Based on my experience from last year, I would say that everything should be decorated. However, as far as the Christmas parade - you can only see that at the MVMCP at that time of year. I believe about a week or two before Christmas, it becomes the regular parade at MK.

Glad to hear they were up early last year. We'll be there 11/2 to 11/10 & I was hoping to see some of them. Kind of bummed we're leaving before the lights start, but we did see them last year, so that's ok. There is a MNSSHP the day we arrive, so it'll be weird then seeing the decorations a few days later.

My neighbor was there at that time last year. He said that the parks were decorated for Christmas. We're going 11/10 - 11/18 and staying at the Dolphin. We just received our MVMCP tickets for 11/15 in the mail yesterday! :woohoo: Let the magic begin! :wizard: pirate:
