Nov 10-13 Wonder Trip

Hi to all! Just took the plunge and booked this trip for our family. We will be four families and will have three little grandkids in the mix so wanted to get connecting rooms. Ended up with 4 rooms cat 9 on the 1st deck. My only concern is that I have read postings that indicated some problem with engine noises from time to time in some of the deck 1 rooms. We have been assigned 1074 & 1076 and 1066&1068. Has anybody had any experience with these rooms. We understand this trip is filling fast and we really wanted the connectings. We are from NJ and this is the week of our State teachers convention plus Veterans Day holiday so we expect to meet up with quite a few others from NJ!

These aren't on the "noisy rooms" list on www.dcltribute.com. Looking at the Deck Plans link at the top of the page, it looks like they are close to midship and away from the the Tender Lobbies. You will hear more noise when you are in port if the ship docks on that side since you are closer to the "ground".

I think I would just take a white noise machine or ear plugs and plan to have a Wonderful time.

Watch out, that's around the time of the Pin Trading cruise so you're going to get all those militant psycho pin-traders running around if you hit that sailing.

Not that it's a bad thing, of course.

My family will be on your cruise. The ship will be fill with New Jerseyers. Went last year also, & it was great.

We are also going on the Nov. 10 Wonder. We are from NJ and are going because there is no school that week. We have 2 boys ages 6 & 7 who will be going.

Since there are so few room on deck one you dont often get information on them.

Can't wait to hear the trip report because we will have those same room numbers on the Magic next June. With so many rooms, I doubt we will get upgraded but we don't care, we hardly ever spend any time in our rooms anyway. My biggest concern is how long it will take the elevators to get to and from the pool decks - guess thats how I will keep the weight off.
