Day 1: Epcot

I left off with us leaving our room to head over to our first park - Epcot! On the way to the bus stop I, of course, snapped a picture or two.

Right as we arrived at the bus stop, a bus was just pulling up, and it was an Epcot bus!

I don't think the bus was really too crowded, we got a seat. Epcot is a really short bus ride away from CBR, so we were there quickly.

As we arrived, I think a monorail or lots of buses just arrived because the bag check line was quite long. We got inside in a timely fashion, though because there are lots of different lines.
As we got inside of Epcot we saw Spaceship Earth!

We headed straight towards 'The Land' to see what time Soarin' fast passes were for.

We got our fast passes, they were for around 1:00-ish, but it didn't really matter because we were going to use them later anyway.
Before we left 'The Land' we went on Living with the Land.

I found a hidden Mickey in the fish tank!

DMom & DSis sat in front of DDad and I so DMom took a picture of us:

After we got off of Living with the Land, we headed over to Test Track. We were going to ride Single Rider line because there's never usually a wait for that. We don't really need to all ride together anyway.

Test Track is such a fun ride! I love it. And we got on with hardly any wait!!
Now we were all pretty hungry because we didn't have lunch yet, so we headed over to the World Showcase to have lunch in Norway! yummm.

Mexico, but we didn't go inside because we all wanted to eat!

Luckily Norway is the second country when you start on the Mexico side! I knew what i wanted already, so I grabbed a table while the rest of my family ordered.

The seating area is outside, but it was under a roof and nice and shady.

My sandwich, I got the Norwegian club and so did the whole family:

After we chowed down, we headed over to the Maelstrom! Now this ride is just a tad bit scary. The trolls terrify me, I can't believe some young children go on this. Although I do get scared easily.

I'm not afraid of the polar bear, though:

They let you off of the ride in the Norway shop. So of course we had to take some pretty amusing pictures:

This perfume or lotion or whatever it is smells so good, all of the shop smells like it!

After we were done visiting the trolls, we headed over to China!

Me & some pandas, I took a picture by this same cart of pandas for the past couple of years:

We have a picture of Brooklynn sitting in the panda cart when she was little.

I've got a thousand things to do, but I had to visit the DIS before I get started. Well, technically I have already started, since I have dinner finished and laundry going, but that still leaves 998 things. It was nice to have the quick trip to Epcot before I really get moving. Thanks for all the good pictures!

I have never thought to go to Norway for counter service, but everything looked so delicious, I think we're gonna have to try it.

The one with the chocolate very good (i didn't try the one with the almonds), but the school bread was my favorite! DMom & I split the chocolate pretzel and the school bread so we could try both.

Day 1: More Epcot!

I left you guys off in China. After that we still did a little more exploring around China.
We went to:

I thought these statues were pretty cool. It was hard to get them all in one picture!

China is really big here and we did more looking around than we usually do.
Leaving China:

The next country I think is the outpost, which we usually skip over, but we decided to look around there this time.

They had a big selection of all different kinds of rocks which was pretty cool:

On the way to Germany we decided to take some pictures!

Then we headed over to Germany to look around:

The Christmas store there is very nice. It must be cool going there around Christmastime to look there.

This was a very cool Beauty and the Beast ornament:

In the next German shop, they had a Belle plate!

& a Toy Story one!

These little figurines are cute, but expensive for something so small:

Then we went over to the Teddy bear shop in Germany:

I took this next picture because in the TV show, The Amazing Race, they had a challenge when they had to drink one of these Beer Boots full of beer, I thought it was cool that they actually sell them.

Then we headed out of Germany and went over to Italy:

I don't think we looked around the shops in Italy because we knew we were coming back another full day this trip.
We headed over to America now:

We decided to see the American Adventure. We've never seen this before and it sounds good.

The Voices of Liberty. They are really good!

The show was very good. The animatronics looked real!
Now we decided we were going to go through the countries kind of quickly because we'd be coming back.
We went over to Japan, but didn't look in the big shop today:

The next country was Morocco, where we saw Aladdin & Jasmine, but didn't wait online to meet them:

The next country is France & for some reason I don't have any pictures of France. However I do know that we got ice cream here! I got soft serve vanilla & chocolate swirl in a cup & DSis got the same thing, but in a cone. We were eating near the French Table Service restaurant and near where the character in France come out. So while we were having ice cream Belle came out & waved to me! Well, I waved to her first so she kind of had to wave back.

Next is the United Kingdom. Off Kilter was playing so we decided to watch them for a bit:

I love the WS. On this day we spent about 2 hours there, but towards the end we were kind of rushing. I think on our full day we spent around 3 hours. There's so much to see there!

Day 1: Epcot
In this installment, I'll be finishing up day 1. I left off with us leaving the World Showcase.
A couple pictures taken as we leave:

We went straight to 'The Land'. We wanted to use our Soarin' fastpasses!! It was around 2:00 PM now. Soarin' was a lot of fun, as usual. We were in row two. Right in the middle, this way we couldn't see the top or bottom of the screen, excellent.
After Soarin', we made our way over to Spaceship Earth! I love the new thing where they take your picture & you can build your future.
Here are some pictures in the ride, don't worry I didn't use my flash!

After we got off the ride, we wanted to e-mail our futures back home. We got our 'video postcards' right away. I read on here that people sometimes don't receive them, but we did.

After we emailed our 'futures' home, we saw ourselves on the big screen:

After our ride on Spaceship Earth, we went over to Mouse Gear. I really like this store, it's so big! Here, I bought one of those swaddled baby characters. i got the Jesse (from Toy Story) one. It's so cute! I knew I wanted to get a Jesse doll on this trip & I found one on the first day!
After shopping for a bit, we went back to CBR. We didn't wait very long for a bus and we got back pretty quickly.

It was around 4:15 now and we were getting pretty hungry for dinner. We decided we were going to stay at CBR and eat at Old Port Royale.
I took quite a few pictures on our way to Old Port, but lucky for you I'll only post a couple of them.

We arrived there & ordered our food.
I got a a cheeseburger with worms & dirt for dessert!

DMom got a grilled chicken sandwich:

DSis got chicken fingers:

DDad, I think, got a hamburger, but for some reason I didn't get a picture of it.
After we ate dinner, we hung around Old Port for a little bit. We looked around the shop, Calypso Trading Post. Then we were all pretty tired so we decided to head back to the room to relax.
These birds are everywhere & I don't like them!

So that's all for Day 1! We wanted to get a good night's sleep because tomorrow we were going to EMH at Magic Kingdom!!
