I wanted to come up with a poem for Evan,
Something that rhymes or is clever even.
But I don't know what to do.
My thoughts seem sticky as glue.
and the bread of my brain is unleaven.

So the Rash family with have to excuse me,
As others heres are just so much more literary.
So go out and have a good belt.
Know that my well wishes are truley heartfelt.
And enjoy that wonderful baby!

OK. What's left of my brain hurts now. Any Advil in the closet?

Off for our annual camping trip to an old-fashioned amusement park in central PA - Knoebels (www.knoebels.com)

Neat place, lots of charm, great wooden coasters and surprisingly great food (knishes and ostrichburgers!)

Hoping it doesn't rain, like it did last year (and the year before, and the year before that, and well just about every stinkin' year we go.)

I am heading out soon, but not quite yet!

It is amazingly quiet here - been alone since noon and I love how much I can get done when no one is around! So I suspect I will stay a little longer, then go home and rest (children and hubby eating at my dad's tonight so I can just chill - woohoo!!!)

Thank you all so much for the greetings, well-wishes, and especially the poems. We're finally home. I'm convinced that one more night on that chair/bed thingy at the hospital would have caused permanent spinal injury. Now the fun begins - keeping a 5YO and a cocker spaniel occupied while caring for an infant. Hmmm, I think I'll go back to work early

I'll be lurking and laughing. Thanks again for thinking of us.

GoOd morning friEnds! Very hAppy it's the weekeNd. familY is visiting the OUtlaws so heRe i am hOme alone enjoying peaCe and quiet. just Kicking back.

Sorry about that. New ink on my fingers. It's a Toon thing. So llovell's home alone too. Ain't it nice? BTW, I didn't recognize at first. She was much larger last time I saw her. I think she put too much caffeine in her shrinking potion.

wtpclc, that was a Tiggerificly bad poem! I enjoyed that very much! And idratherbeinwdw's done it again. Ah, getting the "Led" out on a Saturday morning.

This week's computer tip. Anyone seen Google Earth? My friend told me about it yesterday (okay, so I was the last person on earth to know about the DSOTW synched with Wizard of Oz thingy). Anyway, you download free software and it's satellite images of the earth. I typed in New Orleans, zoomed in to my office building right by the Superdome, followed I-10 to my house and could see the roof of my house. Pretty cool! My swimming pool was missing though. Better go look for it. It even gives driving directions like Mapquest.

Well, the Toon is heading west on Wednesday and will be gone for a week. Bringing my laptop so I'll try to give a live trip report if the internet gods allow. Wed-Fri, Disneyland. Sat-Tu San Diego, flying home Wednesday.

Oh, and if you have too much time on your hands (like me this morning) there's a simple message encoded in my first paragraph for our newest DIS family addition. Well, gotta get back to doing nothing all day!
