lol actually - I did notice. *rubbing your head* poor guy....feeling better now?
Yes, but yesterday morning wasn't pretty. Especially since I had to walk with my daughter in our neighborhood July 4th parade. I swear I could actually hear some of the spectators saying "What's wrong with THAT guy?" :crazy2:

ack - too hot for hangovers and 4th of July walks! You are a stronger man than me...errr - well I am not a man, heck - you aren't either...but you get the point.

Oh, btw, THIS is why you are EXACTLY the guy I want running our country! Just think what you could get signed at 2 a.m. after pounding a few with heads of state!

I'd also knock a few down with Mr. Eisner and finagle him into signing a statement authorizing 10,000 free DVC points to all existing members. Then I'd get him to climb Cindy's castle and scream SPINACH repeatedly while the local news shot live, thus insuring his demise and starting Disney back on the road to recovery. All that from a few Yuenglings - that's why I love it so much.

A few Yuenglings and a very interesting, albeit twisted and tortured mind behind the horse. (This mind will require closer inspection...don't mind my screams :3dglasses )

Awww did all the ones we took that night we met get lost? I saved the outfit just in case, so I'll be sure to send some new pix ASAP!

Dear Candidate Rash,

We are under a tropical storm warning here the Big Easy and request assistance. Please send the following necessaties:

1 case Yuengling Beer, Hope 3 cans is enough - by the time I finished packing it for shipping, that's all that was left.
1 "Rash for President" Beer coozy, Those are illegal to mail across state lines.
1 case canned Spinach, Only if you get yourself on the local news' storm coverage and yell it into the microphone.
1 gas powered can opener (should we lose electricity), YOU"LL HAVE TO SPEAK UP...I'M OPENING SOME TUNA.
1 rowboat, Will a pink scuba suit do? My wife says you can have it.
1 picture of Mar' dressed up like the TTA Hairdryer Lady, Sorry, that's on my ceiling.
1 autographed copy of your latest book, "Hurricane Survival and Tap Dance Instructions for Dummies", Completely out. There's apparently a lot of nervous amateur tap dancers out there. Or twinkled-toed meteorology students.
1000 DVC Points, On their way. Home resort is Villas at Contemporary Resort.
4 AP's, You want 4 associated press reporters?
and 1 "Rash for President" umbrella. :umbrella: My last one inverted on the way to the office this morning. Yes! The trick umbrellas are working!

Your assistance is greatly appreciated in our time of need.

Sincerely,

Tooneric

My son's have discovered the joys of old Popeye cartoons. The word of the week makes me want to toot twice on my corn cob pipe!!!

Ok - so its already Wednesday - which means I forgot to put out the trash this morning (although they probably won't come until tomorrow with the holiday). What else is going on this fine day people?

1) Forgot to put out the recycling
2) Scooped another dead fish out of the tank
3) Bought an MP3 player for DD's 11th BDay, now need to figure out how the heck you add music to the darn thing (yes, I'm being dragged into the 21st century kicking and screaming.)
4) Washer doesn't do spin cycle anymore.
5) Icemaker broke
6) Paid off the home imporvement loan yesterday! SPINACH!
7) Up to my earlobes in work and have little interest in any of it.
8) Need to go to my happy place.

Other than, life is very good!

1) Forgot to put out the recycling You can put it with my trash pick up for tomorrow.

2) Scooped another dead fish out of the tank - Did you have a toilet bowl funeral?

3) Bought an MP3 player for DD's 11th BDay, now need to figure out how the heck you add music to the darn thing (yes, I'm being dragged into the 21st century kicking and screaming.) Does this mean its time to send my parachute pants to Goodwill?

4) Washer doesn't do spin cycle anymore. ooooooo New Appliances! Lets go shopping (seriously, got myself a front loader when my washer quit last year and I will NEVER go back to a traditional washer!)

5) Icemaker broke You have been standing there again with the blender just waiting for the ice to drop haven't you?

6) Paid off the home imporvement loan yesterday! SPINACH! WOW! Congrats!

7) Up to my earlobes in work and have little interest in any of it. You must work with me :p

8) Need to go to my happy place. Meeting you in the closet in 15 minutes with some good tunes (on my MP3 player I might add), cold beverages and a stun gun for anyone that come in uninvited - deal?

Other than, life is very good!

At least I know I am not here goofing off alone today.

NEVER get rid of the parachute pants!

Do appliances know you just paid off a loan and that's when they choose to break? So, when I replace the icemaker and the washer, then what happens? The roof leaks? The car dies? Hmmm, maybe I'll just set up a clothesline and dust off the ice trays.

Can I bring my Home Depot circular into the closet?

Lol!!! Truer words have never been spoken. I think all the appliances get together when we aren't home and plan these things! This is why I NEVER use the online billpay from my home computer! It would know when I pay off my Line of Credit (or the 12 months no interest thingie on my washer, etc) and then something WOULD break for sure!

ooooo Home Depot....I love strolling through Home Depot or Lowes - however, when I go in there, hubby startes getting hives and mumbling about honey-do lists! :p What's up with that?

Are lllovel and I the only two wasting time today?

Helllooo??

(Just checked the cafeteria menu - Creamed Spinach today! Mmm Mmm! Now only if they had Yuengling I'd be a happy camper)

Can I join in the whining?

1. Got up early, 'cause I'm swamped and should have worked on my day off yesterday.
2. Didn't work yesterday, because I did laundry all day (house guests) and still have a load to go.
3.DIscovered I pinched a nerve in my neck while I slept.
4. While blow-drying my hair (which is painful with pinched nerve), I blew a fuse or tripped the GFI. Headed towards basment to check breakers and called dh for opinion. Lost signal in basement. Got dh back, told me to try 3rd outlet's test/reset button. Well, as I told him before, teh radio on that outlet was still playing, back downstairs. Lost dh again. Found fuse. Reset outlets. Life was ok again, but hair had no dried funky.
5. Had my pager set to noify me if I got messages yesterday while I was home, because I may have had some emergency tasks come in. Realized that pager died this morning. oops.
6. Got in car and discovered garbage truck was blocing driveway, so I had to wait.
7. Got 1/2 way to work and discovered breakfast was on the counter. Closest thing to breakfast food in machine was cc cookies. I guess that may have been a good thing.
8. Can't find what I need for tomorrow's meeting. Group Manager I'm working with is not my favorite person. Not haivng the info, won't help things.
9. Worst thing of all.....very limited DIS board time today! ;(

Thanks for letting me vent. TW1, I feel your pain today.

As an aside, my neck feels like I've been in Aladdin's lamp for 10.000 years. Tomorrow's got to be better, right?!

Absolutely! I've always been a big fan of the Tomorrow. I love the tomorrow! As Rash might suggest, trying yelling Spinach at your meeting! At least you'll smile!

Woah Carrie! You need some TLC STAT!!! Come and join TW1 and I in the "hiding in our secret place" closet at once! I am pretty good at rubbing backs and necks if you think it would help :)

lol @ loudly saying Spinach! Go for it. You know it would make you laugh (even if they think you are crazy- and if they think you are REALLY crazy, then you might get another day off :cheer2: )

Hmmm.... I think I could handle a medical leave. Just got 3 days this week, 4 next, and then I'm over for a little over a week, unless it's suggested I rest my mind earlier than that. ;)

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.....

I'd love to hide in your closet, but hiding on the DIS boards is probably related to why I'm so behind and my desk is such a catastrophe.

I do appreciate all of your sympathy and words of wisdom! Thanks for the free couch time lllovell and TW1!
