Yeah, the Toon is here, but my head feels fuzzy, like the camera is out of focus. Maybe it's the after affects of the tropical storm. I think all that low pressure makes me feel weird.

No wonder it didn't seem quite right. I had DSOTM going while watching Willie Wonka. All it did was give me the munchies for chocolate. Tonight I'm gonna play Tom Petty while watching "Dennis the Menace". I hope to send a message to the next storm in the gulf, "Don't Come Around Here No More."

Goodness - I can't believe the rain storms here last night! (watch out Rash - I think they are headed your way). We got most rain in a 2 hour period over the last 10 years.

Power was out for a good while (which kills me - I can't sleep when its so quiet...and the kids woke up a couple of times which causes me to JUMP from the bed and go running - probably entertaining at this point). Finally got to sleep around 2 and then had to take my glucose tollerance test today *blah*

I am going to the closet to take a nap!

It's overcast here in GSO and humid too. It looks like the mountains and foothills are going to catch the brunt of it. No rain here yet, but we should get some later this afternoon and through tonight.

I hope you all miss it. I was amazed how bad it was. One of those storms where the sky never goes dark because the lightning is constant.

But hey, what a hurricane season without a bit of excitement. We have a shopping center in Pensacola that we JUST finally settled with the contractor about the roof repairs from last time.

Anyone have a battery powered blender?

Sorry to hear about your storms. Philly should be getting a bit of Cindy Friday, luckily nothing too bad, though probably enough to ruin my night to see the Phillies take on the first place Nationals. Does the closet have cable?
