ooooooooo a new toy!!!

I am waiting on a new printer and a new accounting/property management program which I finally got them to see will save us a ton of time. Of course, the crazy pregnant woman will have to get it up and running by 01/01/06 (with maternity leave in between AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA) because that is part of what I do around here - the official tweeker of the accounting/property management program.

The good news is that its a massive update of a program we currently use, so at least I don't have to teach them how to use it - I just have to get them to use it properly (which will actually be harder I am sure  ) but we have a new person working here who is VERY smart and helpful - so hopefully all will go there. Luckily the boss and I use it the most and she is on board for the changes as well. :cheer2:

Now to get it ready by 01/01/06. :badpc: (of course - it has to arrive first! lol)

My toy will be more fun! :earboy2:

It's like a printer, but it cuts. I can use it to cut out shapes fo rmy scrapbooking. It iwll cut out any font in Word, or downlaoded to Word, plus any other shape that I can outline. Woo Hoo! I don't have to train anyone but me to use it either! ;)

Good luck getting that up, running, and properly utilized! A new person that's smart AND helpful. Is their name Figment? :rotfl:

Laura - BTW. We don't want to move that ticker too fast. We want Miss PJ to have the proper baking time! (Then again, we our premie theories... No, not worth.)

BTW --
Mommy = Melody

Baby Princess = Amelia

I just realized that my siggie can be very confusing!!! LOL

Be careful. I'd hate to see you get banned from DIsney fro anything. (I can understand the need for modifications, though. I'd hate bad thoughts in my happy place.)

I was lucky enough to be able to take my ex's name off my brick and get it redone with only my name and my kid's names. (WDW used to make changes for $50, but it's no longer an option). I know exactly how I'd feel if I had to see my ex's name paired with mine during my "happy time", so I'm glad to be ColoradoBelle1's partner in crime. Does anyone know if chisels are allowed on planes? It's gonna be great being there the same time as ColoradoB in May, looking forward to it tremendously. We're going to request rooms next to, or at least near each other.

Just for the heck of it, here's my brick: (Would have changed the Poly part to DVC or BWV if I could, but we still love the poly, so it's no biggie)

Carrie,

So far she is real, but you know how it is waiting for the other shoe to drop! lol I had to "discuss" it many times to get her hired. My boss kept saying she was overqualified. I said if she know WHAT the job entails and is willing to work for the money then hire her and when she masters the job, GIVE HER MORE TO DO AND MORE MONEY!!! We are a small company and it really takes go getter kinds of people to get things done because no one has time to look over someone's shoulders. (luckily - I have the most freedom not reporting to anyone except my one boss and not having a set schedule, etc).

Guess what? She mastered the job in the first month and is looking for more to do. I keep telling her to be careful what you wish for lol

Melody - she is adorable and Amelia is a WONDERFUL name!

So can she pinch in during your maternity leave?

Some - which is wondeful!!!

But she is also just making things run so much smoother around here which makes my life better on a day by day basis. :goodvibes

Mar - that would be SO COOL to have a brick!!! We have one at Cent. Olympic Park in Atlanta for hubby and I and I wish I could buy one for the kids too, but they are no longer selling.

GOsh, I forgot to tell everyone that I put out cinnamon scones from Starbucks fr a mornign snack today. ALittl epricey, but you're all worth it! ;) Can I go home now? I think today is a good day for napping in teh closet. No wonder we're all so tired. we haven't had a group nap in ages.

Woohoo a group nap!!! I am so there.

(oh my goodness - cinnaminnnnyyyyyy things *drool* mmmmm)

Mar',

You'd better bring some grout next trip. I adjusted the contrast and it looks like some cracks are starting to appear in your brick...

I looked and looked for the cracks.... :earboy2: apparently they are in my head! Good one Toon.

I'll admit it, I have brick envy as well...having one of the "I knew we should have done it" moments. They are building a huge community center in our neighborhood with pool, climbing wall, gym, etc. and are selling engraved pavers to help supplement the cost -- perhaps I'll have to jump on that opportunity instead.

So Carrie, been hanging out at Starbucks this morning, eh? You'd love it where we live as there's a Starbucks on every corner here in WA. I really have to limit myself as it can get spendy in a hurry. But every now and then it really hits the spot!

Okay, I am having this really funny image in my head right now of a WDW Brick with orange traffic cones and caution tape all around it with Mar' in a hardhat with a tube of grout!

Is our favorite toon the brick fairy???

I did a drive through this am. I'm really not a Starbucks finatic, as they're pricier than the local joints, but I do enjoy their cinamon scones. I must admit my half decaf breve cappuchino with sugar-free caramel was very good this am, though. I don't think they need picky people like me coming in at 7 am any more though. :rotfl: It reminds me of the scene from You've Got Mail.

Hey Mar'! I have a hard hat, cones, safety glasses and steel-toed boots you can borrow!

(Kind of wondering what that info does for any of you who had a picture in their mind of what I might be like. ;) )

Gee, I thought you were the quiet type!

Hey Colorado Belle, if you can get a picture of Mar' in that getup next May (and her fishnets of course), I'll pay big money!

Yup hitting the road 'round 4:30 am Saturday. Plan is to make it to Savannah. Then on to BCV Sunday morn, hopefully arriving around 1pm. Never made the drive to Orlando before, though we drive to HHI every year.

I can taste that Guiness now! You can be sure I'll be having something by the time I check-in after all that time in the car! I'm dreading the drive through DC. Tons of construction added to the normal summer weekend travelers. Still haven't sorted out the route I want there.

Upon arrival in BCV, plan is for DW to take the kids to SAB while I check-in and unpack. I'll meet her with a couple cold ones as soon as humanly possible.

Everybody now..."Roll out the barrell, we'll have a barrel of fun..." :music:
