Nothing new for Halloween

Me too.

I just figured out that no Halloween stuff on vmk gives me an excuse to start decorating my own guest room with what I do have from last year.

Keep in mind I'm trying to think about everyone else who didn't get a dream and may be bitter about that. Waking up to Halloween festivities just would have been a super way to soothe those feelings of bitterness is all.

Wow. You sound so bitter this morning. It's the first of the month and already you're complaining about Halloween decorations? How many of you have finished decorating your homes? How many have even started? Will you also complain at opening of VMK on November 1st that the Christmas overlays aren't done?
Step back, give the technical people a few days to work some magic. Enjoy the look of VMK now, because once the holiday decor is up you won't be seeing that look or hearing those sounds for quite some time. Oh, yeah, you'll complain about that, too.
Just can't please everyone...Sad.

you seem in a happy mood today . I dont think these guys are "bitter" per se,
but more so disappointed, as most of us were expecting things to follow on from last year when everything was ready.
The decor, I dont care too much about as I rarely visit main street, ect.
Im happy dreams month is over, and we can all get back to earning credits furiously for items!

I was hoping for the new overlays, too, but I also remember the feeling I had when they were finally finished! I was totally in awe of the artwork. Simply amazing, what they did. I'm hoping there are more surprises this year!
I only wanted to stop this thread from getting people even more upset over last month. Please, give the VMK staff time to set it up. It really is amazing!

I can't get on VMK for about 8 hours, so I can't see what's there... but nothing yet? Eh, I'm not surprised... it sometimes takes VMK a day or two (or three or four or more) to get going... I've been playing VMK since April '06 and I've learned to develope a sense of patience and a general apathy about VMK new releases/changes.

They'll come when they come.

Don't worry everyone, I am sure its all coming soon. Just be glad they learned how to turn OFF the halloween decorations. That first year they didnt figure out how to until like the week before Christmas LOL

Yep. I can still smell the rotting pumpkins from that year. LOL.
And I also remember the nightmare of an event at the end of the month. At least last year, they got most of the bugs worked out on those two things.

The calendar has new listings now. There's a little picture on the side that reads: Happy Halloween from your friends at VMK. The picture is of "Bat Yavn" (I love that), "Push Yeti", "Jack-o-lantern Push" and has a DLR Pumpkin and Sparrow costume... Hmm... Sparrow Costume?

I love the Bat Yavn, btw... his vampire teeth are great! :lol
