Nothing Left to Do!

We leave for our amazing Beach Club vacation in 18 days and I'm going crazy with anticipation!

I wish there was something to plan but because we've decided to "wing" the majority of the trip (only 1 ADR planned)... there's nothing left to do!

Well... except scour these boards looking for random bits of info.

This is kind of the worst part really. I hate the whole, "Well, I've planned everything but it's way too early to start packing." Then, I start shopping and buying more stuff to take with us.

I'm right there with you! We leave in 34 days and I'm restless with needing something else to do!

Ha! I know what you mean. The planning and anticipation is part of the fun, so it stinks when the planning comes to an end. Even if we don't have an upcoming trip, my sister and I play "would you rather?" Just for fun, we'll send emails and texts that say, "WYR have lunch at Pecos Bill or Mara today? Go to AK or MK? Ride Star Tours or Haunted Mansion?" We also send each other countdowns and trivia. It's even more fun to me than booking airfare or getting dining reservations! Have a great trip!

So a week from right now, we'll be at the HDDR! And yes, I've been anxious to pack..or do SOMETHING...for a couple of weeks!

Here's what's kept me busy:

-make sure you have done your shopping. I have my sunblock, both the regular cans and the small ones for on the plane.

-gone through our pins..separated the ones we would trade from the ones we would never trade!

-pulled the luggage out (I just like seeing it in the hallway!)

-keep reading the DIS boards and looking at the pics they have of whatever resort you're staying at!

What did I do today? Actually packed a few things. Can't wait!!

I guess I'll see you there! We'll be at CR from the 19th to the 22nd, then checking into BCV on the 22nd through the 26th.

Yeah, ressies made, everything printed, too early to pack. Just finalize all the summer home stuff (pay bills, kids physicals for school, last minute shopping, etc.) since we come back to NY right before school starts.

We leave in 11 days. I am kind of glad that I am teaching this week so I don't have to think about it but it means a great deal gets crammed into MOn, Tues and Wed of next week.

Well, I'm glad to hear I'm not alone!

I have plenty of things I should be doing... School shopping for DD9 is definitely one of them. We come back late on Tuesday night and she starts school on Thursday so I definitely need to have her stuff all ready to go.

But all I WANT to do right now is float on my noodle at SAB.

We're 18 days out too! And headed to BLT if I live through the anticipation.

My DSs have started asking each morning what we're doing on that day to get ready for Disney. We've gone to Dollar Tree for ponchos and glow sticks, stocked up on sunscreen, sorted through our pressed pennies and gotten our M&M tubes ready (quarter, quarter, penny!), checked to see if we need new autograph books, made sure the boys have enough shorts for the trip, sent our Garden Grocer order, made a list of postcards we need to send, watched ride videos on YouTube.......I could go on but I won't. I spend my hour or two a day on the DIS, then we come up with one Disney-prep thing to do each day. It might get a little sketchy here soon!

We are in anticipation waiting for our Disney cruise that's more than a year from now. It's so far out that we can't even book our excursions. This leaves us kinda fiddling with our fingers until next year.

Thanks! It's our first time staying there! My DB & DSIL have stayed there and really loved it. We usually do a value, but decided to splurge a little this time. My dream is to someday stay at the Polynesian. Maybe I will win the lottery!
