We just booked are week of vacation for Sept. yesterday. No matter what day and time we cannot find any availble times for ADR's. What do we do just do walk ups to each restaurant? Because at this point of time that is the only thing we can think off since nothing is coming up available.:confused3

There are A LOT of restuarants....NOTHING is available or nothing you want at the times you want? Try to think outside the box. GO at off times. SOrry for your frustration!

This is why it wouldn't be so bad if Disney decreased the value (taking away the dessert now, etc.) of the Dining Plan. Then, even if they do offer "free" Dining Plan in the future, a lot less people would take it, maybe choosing to go with a room discount instead. This would probably result in a lot more openings for ADRs. Trying to get and ADR at a decent place and at a decent time has become darn near impossible if you book your trip inside 180 days and adds a lot of stress/frustration to what should only be a "magiacal" experience.

What week are you going? We will be there from Sat Sept 4th - 11th and I have actually changed a couple of my choices and there is a lot of availablity. We are a party of 6 and I have been able to switch some of my ressies since we decided to drop the park hoppers. It does appear that Le Cellier that is pretty much booked but there are a lot of other good choices. I don't think you will have much luck if you just try to do a walk up.

Call and talk to a human instead of using the online system. Also if you are trying to book a large party you may have better luck splitting tables (3 and 2 instead of 5, for example).

Donald, did you know that the best way to search is to put in date & time and check to see what is available? Don't choose a restaurant, just the date & time. The system will check all TS restaurants for about an hour before until an hour after the time you have selected. If nothing comes up as available, change your time by an hour either direction. Your top choices may not be there but something should come up. Good luck.

Are you trying to book a table at Le Cellier for 30 people??? ;)

Just for fun, I put in 4 different dates during each week of Sept for a table of 4 and got at least 56 restaurants to show availability each time.

Granted, Le Cellier never popped up :) but there were many other good choices.

It looks like you have many options as long as you're willing to be flexible--going to Kona instead of 'Ohana, for example.

Have a great trip and enjoy free dining!

I would call.. It also depends on the times and plance that you are wanting reservation. If you are looking for on Chef Mickey's breakfast it might be book.. Maybe try Ohana's instead. At this point you might not get what you really want but you can get some reservations and then just keep trying. Also if you are going over Labor day you might have a problem.. Free Dinning + kids being out of school = lots of people at Disney.

We are going in September and I am still changing some of mine, so there are times available. I have been surprised at some of the good spots/times I have gotten. I have also dropped some very good picks like Le Cellier. I think you will have great difficulty walking up and getting in at many places, especially in the parks, so it would be best to try and book them all now. This is my fifth trip during FD and I would never show up without ADRs.

If you are only trying dinner times, maybe look at lunch times, many places offer the same menu. Another thought is a great breakfast buffet or all you can eat, where you will get alot of food with a variety of items to get through to an early CS dinner, snacking in between. Boma breakfast or All you can eat skillet at WCC for breakfast or lunch at Biergarten are a few. The Biergarten never appealed to me, but I just ate there in May and it was wonderful. I would much rather eat well early in day than have a heavy dinner at night. I am often playing on computer after midnight and that is when I have picked up some nice times, so try in off hours. And don't hesitate to keep trying after arrival. I once dropped CRT just two days ahead while we were there along with a couple others.

I just try to be flexible and open to trying new things, often I have been pleasantly surprised.

1. Be flexible in your times and your restaurants
2. Check the September dining reservations canceled thread
3. KEEP trying!

Good luck!

Sorry you are having trouble! Just yesterday I changed 5 ADR's around, going to different restaurants and dropping others. Be flexible and enjoy your VACATION ;)!

There is tons of availability...unless you have a very restricted list of where you want to eat & when. Or a very large party-size. Be flexible about when & where...on the on-line system, limit the location to the place you're going to be (like Epcot) and choose a meal time. The system will tell you all the restaurants & time choices available at Epcot on or near your time slot.

I just started making my ressies a couple weeks ago for September when i decided to keep my trip plans and I have been changing them a lot since then when I find better times etc... Just keep trying every day and you shoudl be able to find something. Also....usually you have lots of cancellations right around the 45 day mark due to people having to cancel their trip when the final payment is due.
Good Luck

I am not sure what you are going online that is resulting in absolutely nothing available? From the first page on the WDW website, check the Dining box, put in the date and time and number of people and then hit enter. It will bring up many options for your dates. :confused3

Please try again, this sounds so UNreal.
Try a bit earlier or later, try resorts over parks (like if you are at MK, how about Kona or something at Contemp....there really should be open options for you.........I am going during FREE dine and found openings, and lots actually....not perfect fits, but certainly manageable.
I would NOT go without booking dinners........I wish I could try for you.....whats your dates...:confused3
Best of Luck!!!!!!!

Yeah, I would say to try again. Our trip is two weeks away and I've been able to make reservations just this week. I think you have to be flexible with your times. I've started making more lunch reservations this time, just to give us a good "mid-day" break. I was able to get a lunch Le Cellier reservation for August and I just booked it in June.

Just wanted to post my experience. Last year I booked the last week of September in September! So I did not have any advanced time. I "settled" for lunches etc. Eventually, I ended up with my first choices. I got Cinderella's Royal Table at 5:30 pm for the night we had Halloween party tickets. I got Ohana's for dinner. (I could never get into Kona Cafe though!). I got 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, Chef Mickey's lunch, and Boma for dinner. Keep trying and good luck!

We are also going in September, and I continue to tweek my ADRs. I've achieved a LeCellier for 2:20 pm, O'Hana for 6:20 pm, and Mama Melrose's at 3:20 pm during a Fantasmic day, and all of this within the past week. Don't give up! Do the 45 day out thing that another person has suggested! I heard that works, but otherwise, try daily, and you shall persevere!

Make sure you are choosing "PM". I don't know how many times I've searched for a dinner 8:00 reservation in Epcot and only got the Norway Princess Breakfast as available :rotfl2:
