Notes IOA and US different closing times on march calender

Did anyone else notice the different closing times for IOA And US for March. the IOA Closing times starting March 20th is 10:00pm but US times are still 8:00. Do you think that means that HP will be open on March 20th?

No, it means that they are having a Mardi Gras parade and Miranda Lambert concert at Universal. IOA always stays open later on MG nights for the people who aren't interested in the parade.

It looks like longer hours for Spring Break and it also means that even though it says 8pm for Universal,the park will still be open for the parade and the concert which will begin at 8:30pm and will probably run until close to 10pm.

I thought the parade was only on Saturdays? The week we are there in March, there is an hour difference in closing times the entire week. Why would that be?

Which week are you going?

March 7-12 (9-6), 13 (9-8 due to the concert)
March 14-19 (9-7), 20 (9-8 due to the concert)
March 21-25 (9-7), 26 (9-8 no concert that night), 27 (9-10 start of busy Spring Break/Easter time)
March 28-31 (9-10 the week before Easter is very busy)

I don't know what's going on Friday, March 26...there is NO concert that night and I doubt seriously a parade is going to be done w/o a headliner concert.
