Note re: MDE Express and Luggage

Wanted to pass along my experience re: MDE and our (very wet) luggage. We used MDE from Orland airport to Yacht Club last Tuesday. Landed around 5:30PM and shortly after the bus left the airport an absolute downpour thunderstorm hit. By the time we arrived at Yacht Club and checked in it had mostly cleared up so we went over to MK for the evening. When we got back to the room around 11PM our luggage was there but was absolutely soaked. Looked like someone had opened the suitcase and turned a hose on everything. I went to the front desk to find out what happened (and honestly complain) and was told this was a common occurrence because the airport didn't cover luggage that it set aside for MDE. The front desk offered to give us money to dry our clothes (at 11PM on our first night at Disney) and I asked if they would just wash and dry and they agreed to do so. We dropped it off at the front desk the next morning and it was returned around 6PM. We were initially charged $162 for the service but when I called they agreed to remove the charge.
