I agree, if you take the red bra, and the crazy red eyeshadow the lady modeling my dress you would have an awesome look lol!

I do love that dress on your Joanna, it is very flattering and the swirl pattern is very pretty. I bet you will love that dress more once it is altered a bit more... it is always hard to love something that doesn't fit how you want it to.

It's such a great dress, and you will feel so amazing in it once it is really custom made for you... it will be like you have officially taken ownership of it at that point (does that make sense?)... and if not you can rock Bridezilla Barbie

Okay – So we got our engagement pictures back!!!

Essentially, photography wasn't/isn't that important to me. I knew I wanted an outside photographer because I wanted the digital rights to my pictures and a few decent pictures to use. Beyond that, no clue.

Now I will admit that DF and I are not photogenic people. We've been together for like 8 years and taken 4 total good pictures together. So I was not expecting amazing photos – While I was picking out a photographer, I kept showing my mom pictures and we'd laugh – well pretty people, pretty pictures. Basically my goal was to get one or two pictures that I thought were decent and to check out our photographer. I am extremely picky and was expecting (and would have been totally happy with) 3-5 pictures I liked.

Well, I came up with a good 20 or so that I thought were decent! I mean, we're still not pretty people or even remotely photogenic, but I think Randy is a miracle worker or something, because we did actually get some decent photos.

Thanks! Yes, we took them at the GF. I didn't really know/care where we took them, so that's where Randy suggested. I really never knew there were so many different backdrops there.

Okay. Off to fight with the technology. I have 3 computers and home and 2 at work, but all of them either have a broken CD drive or an old browser that photobucket won't work in, and I can't seem to get the pictures off the CD on a computer that I can also get photobucket to work. So frustrating! Hopefully I can post some more tonight.

Also i love your dress too - it does look big on you but seamstresses can work wonders taking it in and fitting it so i wouldnt worry too much. You look lovely in the dress anyway and thats all that matters!

I made an appointment with the seamstress for September, so I've vowed not to put the dress on again until then. It's just way too big and makes me feel frumpy. I'm sure you're right, once it fits I'll feel better about it - I do really like the dress.

Okay, wow... it's been a LONG time since I've poked my head in here. Sorry sis. BUT looks like you've been busy.

1. Lapu lapu!?! An entire pineapple filled with 151!?!? GLORIOUS!!! I must have one... or two ^_^' the BF wouldn't like it, but he doesn't have to try any.

2. When we're in Disney for your site visit / planning session thing, the BF and I are most definitely going to drink around the world in epcot. And I would TOTALLY wait 45 minutes to go on Maelstrom. The accuracy of Norwegian history in that ride is well worth the wait.

3. Your dress looks awesome and the jewelry looks great with it. My dress still looks like poo. >_< ... and I'm not sure that I'll fit into it anymore. 8 months in Amish country with all their mayonaise and fresh bread did not do wonders for my figure. .. I'm all bloaty ;_; *sniff* *pokes at stomach*

4. Love the pics. What was it, "You look good in sepia tones." ^_^ But in that second picture (you with your arm around Chris... in a mildly threatening manner might I add... you TOTALLY look like mom!!!!!!!! lolz

5. Did you know that mom got to see the space shuttle launch?

Loved reading about your travels. When we're in Disney for your planning session you can write about all of that and I'll actually write about the cool stuff while gallivanting through the parks (most likely epcot) with the BF and Dad. ^_~*

In other news....


We made our reservations for our PS (Thanks Carye!!) and I booked Patricia LaJuene for my hair and makeup trial while we're down there.

I wish we were doing more Disney when we are down there, but we're going on a RCCL cruise for my grandma's 80's birthday, with waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many relatives. So, only 1 day at Disney and no parks for me

Other than that, I'm kinda at a planning stand-still. I've gotten the things that I needed and can't make decisions on the rest of the stuff until we get closer.

Thanks for reading! I seriously can't believe my deal either. I saw a similar dress - same designer - used, on ebay for $790! I just can't believe it! I'm getting married on the 24th - so 3 days after you, but we're coming in on the 20th - so we'll be there at the same time as you! hmmm...
