Not worried, anyone else?

We will be at POP Aug 22-27. I am not worried about a thing. If some rides are closed for refurbishment, hurricane possibilities, dining plan snafus, I have to buy a new resort mug, crowded parks, etc. You get the idea. I don't care. Everything always works out. I tried to make an itinerary , doesn't work. We just "fly by the seat of our pants "too much. I did make dining reservations, but that's it. I was afraid we wouldn't eat. :teeth:
I'm going to the happiest place on earth. :goodvibes :cool1: :flower:
Anyone else not a worrier or major planner?

MAJOR planner here. DH and I are going without the girls next month, 8/24 - 29. We're not worried about a thing. If all we get to do a walk around the parks we'll be happy just being there!! Just looking around the parks has enough stimulation to get us through the day. :goodvibes

Major planner here too, and it has really paid off but I am not worried about anything either. Everything is paid for and ready, all I have to do is pack, we are just counting down the days..

Not worried either. I'm the planner but DH really is relaxed saying that we'll manage and work through any bump in the road. If a hurricane strikes, I've read enough that I know the parks would be closed for a day and we'll get lots of rain...ok, we'll deal. We've had a crappy couple of months in our lives and just getting away to WDW, with my family, is all that I need.... :Pinkbounc

Another one absolutely not worried. Thanks to Southwest making me an offer I couldn't refuse, this is a bonus trip-DVC member, so no hotel costs (just points), AP holder. So if I spend 3 days sitting on my balcony reading a book, Hey, I'm at Disney World!

Amen brothers and sisters. No worries, just excited about the upcoming trip. Besides, the hard part is over-everythings paid for. LOL
And my thoughts are...a bad day at Disney is better than a good day anywhere else. 59 days and counting

I didn't think 3 months ago that I'd be going back until November - so I'm just thrilled to be going 8/24 - 8/27 - and for my b-day!

I, too, am a confessed planner, but as my mom and I really want to enjoy the GF (having never stayed there), we have 1-2 AR's each day, but not much else planned. I do want hurricanes to stay away though, so we can lay on the GF's beach!! :goodvibes

Hope everyone has great trips!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

You all have the BEST attitudes!!! I am sure that you will all have WONDERFUL trips! Keep up the happy thoughts - they are contagious! ::yes::

Same here! Happy Birthday, Tinkaroo-can't think of a better place to celebrate. Don't forget to get your birthday button.

Im not worried at all we always go in August ,as our 3 boys have finished school, being from the uk I'm always just sooo glad to be there i dont worry about a thing and will just book another trip the next year to cover anything we miss :rotfl:

Happy Birthday Tinkaroo! I just spent my 40th in WDW in April :cool1: What a great way to spend my birthday! Hope yours is every bit as wonderful!

I'm not worried about a thing either. This is a no planning trip all the way. A few AR's for must do restaurants & that's it. We are planning on mainly water parks & the Grotto by day, PI by night. I'm sure we'll do a few things in each Park, but we aren't sweatin anything. We'll be back in Dec., so what we miss now, we'll do then.

I too am a Major Planner.
We leave tomorrow! (Friday-July 22).
Thanks for the insight...you are so right...everthing is going to be alright. If we just stop to think about that it'll help ALOT! We are going to be at the happiest place on earth, how can we have anything but a great time.

I wasn't worried BECAUSE I am a major planner.

I am a major planner -- I like to get a framework in so I can make some ADRs (free dining) and then go from there.

I just wanted to say we'll be at Pop with you Aug. 21-27. We'll be the family with 6 kids and matching shirts. :wave2: :jumping1:

I never worry once I get there. I plan and re-plan and chart everything out and cross reference it and highlight it and have options one, two, and three and what to do if it rains and where we will eat and what we'll wear and what meals we'll eat in rooms and when to poop (just kidding) :rotfl2: Of course once we get there, all of those lists just go out the window and we do what ever anyone feels like. :sunny: I enjoy the planning and I enjoy ditching the plan too. We don't worry 'cause we know it's not our last trip. Even when we say we're not going back for 3 years we go back. This next trip planned (yes the spread sheets have begun) is for Jan of 06 and it will be our longest time without going (2 years) since we started going with the kids in 1999. We took 7 trips from '99 to '04. I was pregnant in '04 trip and we've waited to go until '06 for some stupid inexplicable reason that I can't even remember now. I do know that it just about killed me not to go this Jan of '05. Jan is our favorite time to go. Who needs planning when you go in Jan?? Me I guess. Planning I do...worry I do not!! :jumping1:

I am NOT a major planner (come from a long line of those who are not major planners) and I've never worried about a thing when we go to WDW. We take it all in stride and we love it that way!!

OMG :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: You gave me the greatest laugh! My boss had to come see what I was laughing at!

Anyway, I am a major planner also but never worry! And if for some reason none of what I've spent over 365 days planning goes as planned I won't worry about that either. :p All the planning just makes the time pass quicker and keeps me Disney Dreaming! :cloud9:

I am the one who is Disney obsessed  ....oops, I mean, I am the one who enjoys Disney the most but now with only 40 days to go DH and DD(13) are finally getting excited. :jumping1:

We will be celebrating our anniversary and my 40th :scared1: birthday and staying at WL for the first time. What has taken them so long?

Have great trips everyone! :teeth:

We know the day we arrive and the day we leave......we never stress because we have no expectations. We are going on vacation, not to boot camp. :confused3

This is so true, what was the name of that song "Don't worry Be Happy" and we will be once we get down to WDW!!!!!! :wave2:
That is a great attitude to go on vacation with. Who knows what other wonderful things will happen on vacation!

:bounce:
