She was talking on the phone instead of meeting you? I would have hung up and met you. But I'm friendly like that. Much nicer than teva--no wonder my mother gave her up for adoption.

Are there ever some people who no matter how hard you try or how nice you try to be just don't make you feel welcome?

If so, do you just blow it off and try to pretend nothing is wrong or do you try to get to the bottom of it?

My SIL! No matter how she 'talks', she always gives attitude and I always hear from my MIL how she does not like the noise and disruption of when we come with our kids, because it stirs up their three dogs. MIL has also told me that SIL (who is married to husband's brother) dislikes how messy the kids are and how I do not follow them around straightening each thing they touch. Now, my kids are very good and do NOT make huge messes, and we always clean up if they DO make a mess.

Oh well, good thing she does not want children! Those poor kids would be doomed!

Well she didn't know I was walking by and I didn't know it was her until I heard her say her name then I asked Kendra if she had met Denise yet. At the time I didn't have a clue that was who I had just walked by. I'm VERY shy in person. Wish I wasn't so shy all the time...

That's ok, we'll blame it all on her --I always do, anyway (she blame everything on me, too )!

Believe it or not I can have shy moods, too. Not all the time, but in some situations I am. Other situations, though...

Yep! Sadly, they are currently living with my inlaws while their house is being built. Meep! So, no avoiding them on our infrequent visits.
