Are there ever some people who no matter how hard you try or how nice you try to be just don't make you feel welcome?

If so, do you just blow it off and try to pretend nothing is wrong or do you try to get to the bottom of it?

99% of the people in the last town we lived in. They didn't like outsiders. What a bunch of kooks.
I tried to ignore it and then celebrated when we left. Shoot, I'm still celebrating and it's been over 2 years!

Has happened to me, I deal with it the best way I can. I try to figure out what might be the issue....BUT there is ONE THING I will never be accused of and that is making anyone anywhere NOT FEEL WELCOME...because if you KNOW the feeling, it is a feeling you never want anyone to feel.

Basically, it is NOT you, it is the OTHER person, the one not making you feel welcome that REALLLLY has the problem. (JMHO).

I know and had it happen as recent as this morning. I feel sorry for them actually. The other 99.9% of DISers are great.

I totally agree with this. If it is a real life situation, I would want to find out why. It's just me but I would confront the person...not in a nasty way, just casually... "Hey, so and so...I get the feeling that maybe I have done something to offend you."....something like that. If you have done something, you'll know. If you haven't done anything, then you just very politely let the person know that they are acting like a beeatch
