Anyone not use all of their credits and feel they still did better doing the plan or happy with it? I I'm just afraid we will be calling to cancel adr's once we are there because we are tired or want to be else where.

We used all our TS and CS, but left over some snacks. It was still worth it, though just barely. Generally, Disney is pretty good at pricing things. When there are two ways to pay for something, it is rather unusual for one to be substantially better than the other, in all cases.

We generally have CS left over. We tend to share a CS lunch or breakfast. I still find that if we use the TS and the snack anything else is a bonus. Having a few credits left does not bother me.

We had 1 CS leftover...pretty good.

But we used our snacks whenever we felt we needed them, we did not keep them looking for the most value for the buck.

For us, the TS alone almost made DDP worth the cost.

Kids DDP choices are something to consider, but for our picky DS6, it fit just right.

What I'd like to see is a DDP minus dessert option, then 2 snacks per day. We really over-did ourselves trying to take in desserts on both TS and CS meals. Just too much.

We had 2 CS leftover, one child wasn't hungry one day, and I didn't feel like eating another day. Also had 15 snacks left on day we left!! We used them for bottled water, boxes of donuts, bakery cookies and Mickey rice krispie treats.
I haven't added it up so don't know if we still came out ahead, but I'm glad we did it this one time, since it was a very special family trip. Nice to be able to order anything and not be concerned with price. However, on the last day we were exhausted and just did not want to go all the way back to MGM to eat at 50's Prime Time, where we had an ADR. Luckily, our resort concierge was able to get us in at Kona and it was GREAT!
One word of warning (I know a lot of people debate this) - the kid's menus are terrible. Very few choices (mainly chicken nuggets and mac & cheese) and the same everywhere.

Hi. This is what I was thinking there will be times we will be tired and will choose room service, counter service or something else. Umm.. what to do. With the rumors of ddp we may opt not to do the plan. We are planing on still spending alot on dinning. I'm just saving for this now.:)

so we weren't too concerned about how we used it but, 4 adults for 9n/10d. We had 1 TS, 5 CS and 11 SC left on the last day, just couldn't eat any more!!!

You know that if you have Snacks Credits left you can spend them in the hotel store? We shop. I ask the CM what I can use them on and shop? A lot of Goofy candy is available. I give it as a gift when I get home. I use every one of my credits.

so you are saying if i had a cs credit left over i could use it as one snack credit??

No, I said... if you have Snack Credits left over, go to the store at your resort before you leave and ask them what are they good for. They are valued at $4.00.

We drive, so once we did get Counter Service, to go, at the resort. I have always used all of mine. Once we had 9 sc's left, I went to the store, at my resort and spent them on 9 bags of Goofy brand candy, came home and gave it as gifts to my nieces.

The answer for the 1 left over CS credit used for snack credit is no that is not allowed. On the other hand we had snack credits over and were in DMGM and anything in the candy store under $4 we bought was used for 1 snack credit. Make a note the stuff bought must be FOOD. The answer for the thread is we had 1 CS credit left over and that was it. It was worth it for us but if they change the policy of the DDP and put the price up at all then next March we will not be doing it. Just not worth it anymore for us. Will be saving us 400.00 if don't use it and still having 2 TS in the week. That is good for us.:wizard:

On our last day, we used up 4 CS credits on veggie & cheese plates to snack on while waiting for our flight home, and bought 10 Mickey rice crispy treats to use our remaining snack credits (the kids had a blast sharing them with friends when we got home!). And even with all that, we had a couple CS credits that went unused. But we came out ahead or very nearly so on TS alone, so it didn't matter how much we got out of the rest and we didn't worry about maximizing the plan or using up every credit.

We just returned home and left 4 CS credits unused but still feel that we did great on the DDP. We used snack credits at Goofy's candy company to get some special treats and also at the gift shop of our resort to bring home some food treats! We shared some CS meals for breakfast and lunch because they really were more food than we needed, but we didn't try to take advantage of the plan. We felt like most days we spent enough on TS to pay for the plan. We used snack credits to pay for milk and soda to keep in the room and also to share popcorn at the parade! It was heaven! We would definitely do it again!:cool1:

We never use all of our cs credits or snacks, and we still had a great time! We don't worry about value and getting the most out of it, we eat what and where we want. We share c/s meals at certain places because there is too much food for each of us to get our own meal, and it's pointless to waste it just because we have the credits. We will continue to use the ddp.

Yes. I feel I get more than the value of the DDP from just my Table Service meals, and some snacks. Last year I brought home six sandwiches (CS) and five cookies (snack). The year before that, I think I used one CS credit and, again, stocked up on water for the snack credits before I left.

I was rewarded for giving away a CS credit!!

Last month, we had one counter service credit left over.

We were at POP on our checkout day, trying to use up our snack & CS credits.
Well, we had one CS credit we just couldn't use.

I went up to a register in the food court & told the CM there that I wanted to buy someone a lunch. I found a family & used my credit on one of their meals. Then the CM rewarded me. He handed me a set of Tinkerbelle pins & said that I was getting them because I did a good deed. I was to keep one for myself & give the other Tink pin to someone I saw doing a good deed! How nice!

We start getting too many credits mid trip, so we start using our CS credits for breakfast. Also we have used CS credits to get food for the plane ride home. You can get ready to go sandwiches at some of the food courts, plus bottle water/soda. We use our extra snack credits at the bakery on our last day to buy snacks and gifts for the office and family. Fudge....yum. Our last trip we had to cancel a TS, so rebooked Narcoosees to use up 2 at one time and got a great meal. Getting into a signature restraurant is pretty easy at the last minute since it does cost more credits. We had no problem getting a seating for that evening when we called.

we were allowed 3 snacks per leftover CS credits last year at our resort. We still couldn't use them all!! We were soo over food at that point but I wish we had taken more Mickey rice crispy treats home. They were gone in no time!!! Also found the treat at the resort food court (Roaring Forks) were way bigger than the ones at the store.

We were told we couldn't do this...
