So as I'm going through and planning our October trip, I'm realizing things have really changed since we were at IOA/US in the early to mid 2000s. Spiderman, Hulk, The Mummy, and MIB were fairly new. I need updates for the must see attractions (besides the given with Harry Potter) please :) and what isn't there any longer (like I know Simpsons replaced BTTF and Jaws is gone...what about Twister?)

Thanks for any information :goodvibes.

Twister is still there... find it somewhat boring :rolleyes1
Jimmy Neutron has been discontinued and is being replaced by Despicable Me ride (opens summer).

Make sure to ride Rip Ride Rockit rollercoaster at Universal Studios and don't miss Jurassic Park and the water rides at Islands of Adventure.

Spiderman was upgraded to state of the art technology with amazing full hd projections... that's a must too.

Cheers!

i usually skip Storm Force at IOA.
it is like the tea cups at the motherland.

i only do the water rides, Duddly and Popeye when it is hot and i'm going straight back to the hotel once done with them.

i have a hard time recommending the rides/shows that could be avoided as the next person that posts, might rave about how wonderful it is.

we all like different things.

i love the Sinbad show as it has a lot of acrobatics, action and a story line.
others poo poo it.....

I definitely have RRR on our list along with the new spiderman. That was DH's favorite during the last trips...even though most think twister is lame, I enjoyed it ;) and remember how wet we got on the two main water rides ( not including Jurassic park in that ). What about the rides in Seuss Landing?

Think it's worth mentioning that Dragon Challenge (Coasters formerly known as Dueling Dragons) no longer duell. I was at IOA on Monday and was very dissapointed that the effect of dueling is gone.

It's still one of the better rides in the park though.
