Have I misunderstood the 180 day rule? Called DINE yesterday to make ressies for our 12/26 - 12/30 quick trip to stay at the VWL. Yesterday was 180 days to our arrival.

The CM told me that I could not reserve until JUNE 29. I asked about the the 180 rule and she told me I was mistaken.

Given what I am reading about mixed messages from CMs, was she mistaken or was I?

From my calculations your 180 days from CHECK IN is 6/28/06 so I'm not sure why you thought it was yesterday??

The CM is right. You have a month to go. 180 days=about 6 months. You were trying to book 7 months out.

that sounds right, because just last week I made some reservations for my vacation 11/17 -11/28 and they accepted all but the last night.. I had to wait 2 days and then call back

We've all been there at some point doing something to make us . Always a good idea to keep a good sense of humor about oneself as you have done.
