I have tried to do a little research today as far as which site to book, I am not sure if we should go with a premium or preferred. We would also like to have a pet friendly loop possibly. Any advice... Thanks

First what kind of unit do you have? If you go preferred you only have 300 as a choice.

Also there is a smart phone app "Sites at the Fort" that gives you a picture of every site, with dimensions. Many people have found it very handy.

We have a 1997 aerolite we are also thinking about bring our dog down with us. I would like to be close to things. We have never been so I don't know where to start to try and decide.

Our favorite preferred loop is 300 and our favorite premium loop is 400 both are close to the marina and dog park. With a trailer under 30 foot the preferred would work fine.

I am in the same boat, extremely overwhelmed with what site to book.
We have a 36' Holiday Rambler with a total of 3 of us. We love to have cable but not that big of a deal.... Would like to be in walking or biking of boat dock.

Not sure if I would get a golf cart??

Do they have bike racks near boat dock that we could lock our bikes up if we head to MK? Bike racks near bus stops?

Would like to be in the middle of busy and quiet areas, if that makes since.

We are used to camping a lot and lots of tailgating but never camped at disney! Usually fly and stay at POP.... Traveling from New Orleans two weeks after Thanksgiving!

Your desire to be with the action and have quiet makes sense but is probably not entirely possible. The most quiet sites (pet friendly) are the 1600-1900, near canals for fishing and dog walking and are the least expensive. They, however, are the most distant from the boat dock, but fairly close to the bus stop at the Outpost. The 300,400,500 are quite close to the boat dock and the sites have larger paved pads; they're close to the dog park and are more expensive and tend to have more walking traffic. All that being said there are no bad sites at the Fort and you'll probably be happy with any of them. When you're there you can ride around and decide which one you'd like to request for the next trip (no guarantees!) Bike riding is pretty easy and there are racks near the boat dock and near the bus stop at the Outpost. Internal buses run regularly but there's usually a wait - so if time is really tight or if you have small children a cart might help. Have Fun

We love the 800 Loops.......we stayed in 841 and there is a huge shaded dog walk all along the back of the outside of the loop. We do like 300 and 400 loops, but the sites seem so packed together and not much space between them.

We very rarely request a loop or site. We always book premium and have enjoyed some aspect of every loop we've camped in.....but we are thinking of requesting the 800 loop for Halloween.
