Does anybody know if any gators have been spotted on a resort property? The reason that I ask is because a friend stayed about a mile off site and had a gator underneath his car.

We were eating down by the water at The Flame Tree and there was a small gator swimming around the water's edge - expect there had been people feeding him there!! I don't like to see even small gators there as they have a tendency to GROW!!

We saw one there a few years ago too. The the staff working there told us that disney knows about them and tracks them and when they get to a certain size, I believe around 3-4 ft, they are moved to a new habitat.
We did the bass fishing excursion at DW last year and I mentioned to the guide I was surprised we never saw gators anywhere in DW. He explained that Disney often has them relocated. Sorry no gators allowed entry to Disney!
I saw one from the Magical Express on the way back to the airport. Glanced out the window and saw a giant alligator sunning itself by a small body of water. It completely freaked me out as I'm from Pennsylvania and kind of forgot that Florida has alligators living there... Not in zoos. Now I don't think I could ever live in Florida if there's a possibility one could be hiding under my car!!!!!!!
We heard and then saw one at Coronado Springs. It was about 4 ft and was in a pond across the street from the busstop. Never any kind of danger since he was behind the fence.
We used to live in Louisiana so the kids learned early the alligator clucking sound.
DS and DD were so excited to see an old "friend" they crossed the street to the fenced area to check they were correct. Took a picture and came back. Alligator never looked up.
Another guest at the stop ran across, took picture and then proceeded to phone everyone in her phone book.
