Not sure what will happen with possible job change....

Well....alot can happen in a week!!!!

Last week I posted about the possibility of being promoted to either Manager or asst mgr at school. Well... today I find out the director is going back to teaching and will be leaving the day before Thanksgiving break. I have not spoken with her yet but she was going to all the schools to tell us but had not gotten to our school before I left.

I think she was going to be terminated at the end of the year anyway but I guess she "saw the writing on the wall" and decided to leave before it happened. I can pretty much guess that the opportunity for me will go "bye-bye".


I am not really upset about it even though I do not know that for certain. There is a reason for everything and it is a bit comforting to know that I won't be responsible for such an old kitchen and inherit the delapidated equipment. I will be happy doing what I am doing and will be fine with it until I get another opportunity.

Sheila, hang in there! Everything has a way of working out for the best. You never know what will happen when a new director is hired - you still have all those same qualities that made you a stand-out employee. They'd be silly not to recognize your potential, if not now, then sometime in the not-too-distant future.
