Not sure if some CM even check for pins when you ask :(

I have called and asked 3 times to see if there were any discount pins attached to our household and they said no. I wasnt sure if my daughter was going or not until here lately and she does have a pin code and has had it all 3 times I have called. She lives with us and is the same household. I just called and asked them to add my daughter to the reservation and asked if he could check to see if we had any discounts or pin codes in our name. They said no, I said well I know my daughter has one that she got in the email. He said let me look and found it. It is only 10% off but that is all we have for now and it was going to expire soon. I do not think half of the CM's even check or do not check very well. Maybe we should call and say I got a pin in the email and I deleted it could you find it for me :rotfl: Just makes you wonder if they even check at all when you call.
 
I feel the same. I know some really try, because it takes a few minutes, and they seems to be looking. Then some just say no, before you can even finish asking.

After going to Disney for several years it seems they give you more attention and come up with more discounts when you call late in the evening. It may be the time of day when they are not having so many calls ?? But anyway I have had better luck with discounts talking to some CM's in the past when calling later in the evening. Maybe I should take my own advice and do that :rotfl: because I have been calling around 1:00.
 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there are times I've called and they haven't checked.

Usually I ask if they could check to see if pin attached to my name - and most times the response I get is blah, blah, did you get an email? did you get something sent to your house? and then.... well, if you get an email, then you have a pin, that's how you'd know.
so yeah, I've had times where they flat out won't even check.

Bottom line is that nobody knows what criteria they use for sending out PINcodes. It seems inconsistent enough that I'm willing to believe it's totally random.

It does seem though that once you get your first one you keep getting them.

I've heard that too. I certainly wouldn't know that from personal experience. But I just figured they kept you on the list for a while. Or they hate me. :sad:

I agree I have had some who try really hard to find something to help out, but that has been years ago. Then I have some like the last one who said no we did not have anything and I knew my daughter had one and told him after I asked him to look lol
