Not sure wether to bother doing these as it is monring EMH every morning we are there, which kind of cancels out the benefit. Is it possible to do a few rides and then go for the breakfast at all?

Also i didn't actualy book any when i made the booking, if i ring the reservation line will they be able to add the GMFB to our booking?

Thanks

Hmmm, if EMH is on every morning you are there, I would personally try to get first seating at breakfast and then go straight to the parks rather than miss out on EMH.

However, if you want EMH, you should be able to call the hotel and make arrangements.

Back in the days where we would stay at the SF, Ch, SL or NPB, we also found the early morning breakfasts the least stressful and nicest experiences.

I guess it really depends on how early you want to eat breakfast. I am going with DP and my little girl and none of us like to eat first thing so that wouldn't suit us. I phoned the reservation line and got GMF added so you can do it easily. We will go straight on to the rides that are available from 8am and then go for a later breakfast in the park. :yay:

Very early morning breakfasts are not for me either - thats why we have booked GMF for both mornings of our trip in October (when EMH are also on each morning) so we can head straight to the park and do a few rides during EMH, then stop for breakfast in the park - everything to hand.

I also found on my first trip to DLP, that the GMF breakfast wasn't so much of a rowdy bun fight as breakfast in my hotel (the Santa Fe) appeared to be. We really enjoyed our GMF breakfasts.

I booked my holiday about 7/8 weeks ago and didn't know all about the GMF breakfasts etc. Once enlightened by the good people on this fab site, I went back to travel agents and added on GMF for 3 of mornings that we are there. There was no problem with adding them on after the initial booking. But when we are there the EMH are Mon and Weds evening so I think we'll get good use out of the GMF brekkies. Plus, having heard about how dreadful the breakfast rush is at the Santa Fe, I am well glad to not have to experience it!

We opted for a late GMF breakfast at Easter when EMH was 8-10. Got there for 8.00, did several rides then went for bfast about 9.15 and still had time to do a couple more rides before the park was open to the public.
Definitely the way to do it in my opinion

How are the breakfasts at the Sequoia Lodge? Would booking the GMF be better? This is our first time to DLP so I'm not sure what to do. :confused3 We're going Aug. 15-17 before our Med Repo Disney Cruise so we don't have much time in DLP.

Thanks for the help.

We did GMF breakfasts at 9.45 that way we still got plenty of walk on rides and had stop for breakfast and the park still wansnt too busy for when we finished and we were right in the centre of the park.

:)

I booked our hotel etc in May but tonight called to book GMFB and it was all fine. The lady at the booking office told me that once we check in, they'll let us pick the time (like on our previous visits) and hopefully we'll be able to go on a few rides before the park opens for the public.

Can't wait to go - only 2 sleeps left. My DD1 doesn't know yet, she'll be all over the place when we tell her:yay:

the breakfasts at the sequioa lodge are very nice they include fresh crispy rolls mm so loverly, cereals, fresh fruits a selection of sliced meats ie lean ham . chicken salami, and another meat dont know what its called but its nice, yoghurts, apple sauce cheeses breadd for toasting, butters and jams, tea and coffe , fruit juices i am sure there is more just cant remember. never done the good morning fantasy but would like to know whats included, just a note the french milk is horrible its like that puroh milk yukk

Good morning Fantasy breakfast is the same as the breakfast in the hotels. The only difference is that you go to the park before it opens to public and have breakfast there,

I do agree, breakfast in Sequoia Lodge was lovely... Love the French rolls!
