For some reason the "NSSH" was realllly packed this past weekend! Is there a reason? A couple of years ago, it was about maybe have the population I saw this saturday. I thought there were only a limited amount of tickets?

we went to the Christmas party one year and it was PACKED...because the night before they had to cancel because of rain....it rained so hard and for a good length of time.....so those people were allowed to go to the next one.....did that happen to your night?

We were at MNSSHP last year 10/6 & it was crowded. It rained & they cancelled the 1st parade so the 2nd was packed.

I was there that night, that was a crowded parade.

I thought the 9/29 party was packed but only at the candy stations. We did not wait more than 10 mins for any ride - except Buzz (20 mins). Main Street and the front of the Castle were pretty packed for the Villians Show, Parade, and Fireworks.

I thought that Adventureland, Frontierland, and Liberty Square were pretty tame.

It was a variety of reasons; free dining, Friday night, only party that week, Food and Wine started, and a holiday weekend.

It wasn't THAT packed. We had a great spot for the fireworks, an even better spot for the second parade. We never got to do the Alice in Wonderland walk because it was too crowded when we got there (early evening) and DD6 wanted to ride things. Splash Mountain was empty. The only really crowded ride we hit was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which had a longer line than any time we rode it that week.

Now you want to talk crowded, the next day at Epcot was the opening of Food and Wine. Now THAT was packed, as well as hot.

We were there for the party on the 29th and saw the sign that said the Tickets were "SOLD OUT" for the party that night. I thought it was crowded.

And I will agree that the opening day of Food and Wine the next day was a mad house and very hot.

I'll second all of that!!! MNSSHP was crowded 9/29 and Epcot was a madhouse on Saturday.

I expected it for the F&W at Epcot but I think they should sell less tickets for MNSSHP. It was more crowded that night than I saw it any day we were there.

I think the short lines for the rides were just because there are so many other activities to keep people from the rides. But just try getting a picture with a character, you were going to have to wait about 30 min. And just trying to walk around the park was crowded, the only area we didn't get to was Adventureland so I can't comment on the crowd there but everywhere else was crowded.
