My family will be travelling to WDW in Oct. We will be staying onsite for 4 days and be buying 4 days worth of admission tickets. So we have to pay extra for Not So Scary Halloween tickets even though we will be in the Magic Kingdom all day?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. This is a separate hard-ticket event with exclusive attractions and requires separate admission. Guests without MNSSHP tickets are expected to make their way towards the exit of MK by 7:00p. Party guests are identified by colored wristbands and CMs are serious about clearing the park of party crashers.

Other will know more than I, but you will need to buy tickets to the party. It will get you in the MK after 3pm, I think (maybe 4pm). The park will close to everyone without a ticket at 7pm. Be sure to buy your ticket in advance as some dates sell out.

Others on here that have been to it will be more helpful and hopefully they will chime in or correct me if I'm giving out bad info! Also search the site for the MNSSHP thread it has all kinds of info.

THanks Mesaboy. WE have a 6 yr old and an 8 yr old. Can anyone comment as to whether the event is worth the money?

I've been four times, so I'm gonna say yes. ;)

It is not cheap, but it is pretty doggone fun. If you think you want to do it, you want to make sure to get the most out of it--which means maximizing your time and staying until midnight. My DD's been going about every other year since she was 2yo.

(And the party ticket alone gets you in as early as 4:00p without any other kind of ticket.)

We went to our first MNSSHP this last Oct and thought it was wonderful. We are not huge character autograph seekers, so we spent our time enjoying the other aspects of the party.

Hallowishes is my favorite MK firework show! Boo to You parade is my favorite parade at all parks! We even really liked the Villians Mix and Mingle show, it was really fun.

We dressed up, trick-or-treated, enjoyed all the sites, rode on all the rides (lines were very small) and stayed until closing.

I would go again for sure :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
