Not so Scary Halloween?!

Hi everyone:
We will be disneymooning this October.
I have heard that there is a Halloween celebration that month but I haven't been able to find much info?
Anything you could pass along would be great!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event held at the Magic Kingdom after hours several times during the month of October. I don't believe the dates have been released yet. Included in the cost of admission is a photograph and trick-or-treating, plus special merchandise is for sale during the party. We went last year and had a wonderful time...I highly recommend it

Can anyone shed any light on this at all? I realize Disney has not posted dates yet for MNSSHP, but they began it last year at the very end of Sept. I've seen it posted on a board that it would begin 9/29. We are staying over an extra night in case this happens but I've just run across another board indicating it would begin 10/1. Anyone have an idea which date might be the correct one? Thanks much!!

Disney usually releases the dates in late April for MNSSHP. We have gone in the past and had a great time! Waiting on the dates for our trip this fall too. But we are going mid-October and I'm sure there'll be a couple ones in the week that we are there.
