Here we are - just past the halfway mark of a glorious trip to mark our DS's 5th Birthday. The landmark 44 inches to get on the Big Kid rides has been reached, songs have been sung, characters have been met and it's been a super fun and exhausting trip thus far.
Yesterday DS started getting cranky with a capitol C. He felt SUPER hot on the bus ride to Disney Springs and was just not in a Disney mood at all. At bedtime, he was out in seconds. At around midnight he started getting fussy, tossing and turning. At 2 a.m., he started hurling. A few hours later, the Fast Passes for Animal Kingdom day were cancelled (you're welcome to whatever trio scored the last minute passes to FOP today). And here we sit, in a lovely room-with-a-view listening to the sounds of the wind blowing through the bamboo thickets at OKW and a vomiting child. Could be worse. Any day at Disney is better than a day at home.
Now - to try and strategize a Rope Drop trip to Animal Kingdom for our travel day home. Might as well make that last day a fun one
FOP, I have my sights on you!
