Not showing up for a park reservation

Disneyland does have details in their park reservation system, before you actually hit "reserve." There's lots of stuff to read around it, but the info is there for people to find. They actually don't require scanning into the reserved park before hopping, which is ironic to me, since it's obviously easier to hop between those two parks.
It would be odd to me if they included it for Disneyland and not WDW, but they don't always do the obvious when it comes to all their locations.

I’ve begun to think if it’s obvious and or logical it’s exactly what they will not do. Lol
