Not shopping on BF? What are you doing?

I am working. I would rather be earning money than spending it!

Taking the family to see A Christmas Carol, then lunch at Portillo's. Will then go home and do outside/inside Christmas decorating. Probably watch a Christmas movie at night.

We'll be taking my mom and dad to see A Christmas Carol Friday evening! No Portillos for us--just sloppy joes. (I'm not cooking for Thanksgiving and my sister throws ALL leftovers directly into the trash

going to the beach about 4 hour drive normally - with BF who knows - think need to go by - what 5 big shopping areas.... worst yet it will be Friday afternoon.

maybe everyone will be off the streets by then....

waking up at the crack of dawn and driving to Disney....12 hour drive!!

We'll see you on the road! DH and I will also be out at the crack of dawn on our way down (the rest of the family will be on the auto train....long story ). We're stopping for the night in GA though, before meeting up with everyone on Saturday and hitting Downtown Disney Saturday night .

I am hitting just a couple of store (2/3 max) the hopefully breakfast w/ mom. Then home to decorate the house. We will prob. start on Thur. Then I have to go to work that night. Those sale signs at Kohls don't change them selves you know

I will be sleeping in, then I'll get up and have a turkey and mayo sandwich a hunk of pumpkin pie and head to the barn for a little pony nuzzle and watch DD ride. Then we will be going out to dinner with friends....almost as wonderful as a day at DIS...almost.

I'll be flying out of Buffalo, NY and heading down to WDW! I land at 2:45 pm

If I was home I wouldn't be doing the BF shopping anyway. I don't want to fight the crowds. I'm almost done shopping. I plan on getting a couple of gifts in Disney then I'm done I usually decorate and put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving. This year since I'm leaving I've already decorated

Working. Also not in retail. All of our clients are closed, too - but we take the day to do inventory.

we will be not getting up at 5am - sleeping in a bit and headed over to epcot for the day around 9am.. This is a 1st for us going right on thanksgiving. we normally go the 1st week in dec..

I work for a bank and it's business as usual for us. I'm on the sales side, so I'm not tied to a desk, but I still need to show up and look interested

I can't imagine going shopping on BF----too many obsessed people driving wildly.

I wish I was heading to WDW!!!

But, I will be sleeping in. I NEVER do BF!! I have seen to many horror stories on the news And that is it. I have no other plans, which is very rare, I am going to do NOTHING!!!!

Going to the Spa with dd, my mom and my sis. My DH is in Dallas for the Cowboys game on Thanksgiving so he won't be around. This is the first time in 16 years we have been apart on a holiday, but being at Texas stadium on Thanksgiving to see the Cowboys play has always been a dream of his, and who am I to squash a dream? Well, I used to squash more, I guess I am getting mellow in my old age!

as long as i can hold strong, i will not be shopping on BF.
i get paid tomorrow, and everything extra is going into savings for my vacation in 70 days!!!!

instead, i am working on a "must do" list, i have a four day weekend, and i think i can get alot done.
i take that back, if i do any shopping, it will be at Home Depot for Opps! paint for my bedroom!

otherwise, we plan to just hang out, and go to the Holiday parade on Sunday.

I'm working--in retail! BUT, it is a small family owned specialty store. We open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. just like always and we still have a great day on Black Friday.

Friday AM I will try to buy some things online and maybe hit a few fun stores (like Bath and Body Works, Old Navy) with my friend. Maybe yoga class. Then I am decorating. When DH gets home from work early we will try to find a small tree downtown- 4 feet or so (our 2 cats are new to Christmas this year so we want to put it up on a table.) Friday night we are going to Universal's Portifino Bay Resort for their Holiday Harbor Nights (tree lighting, food, wine, cigars and live holiday music.) Saturday friends will probably stay over and we will go to our town tree lighting and snow downtown! Then one of the parks. Hope to see Osborne Lights or the MK castle lights. Sunday I will decorate more and work on my advent calendar (get some more fun things in it!)

I think that's awesome! How often do we get our dreams coming true??? AND he better get to Texas Stadium soon, huh?

*sigh* I sorta wish I was gonna be in Dallas, too...I miss my other grandkids. Oh, well, flying home after the holidays...will make xmas last a bit longer, eh?

I used to be a huge BF fan.. huge. I began back in the late 80's and continued up until maybe 2 years ago.

I just kind of just got over it.

As for Friday, I will be submitting/printing resumes, getting my portfolios ready and stuff like that.
