I am having problem with points! DVC has messed up our account and given us some undeserved points. (I had posted previously on this subject). I am not getting any resolution in a timely fashion (been over 3 weeks since first discussions with Member Services -MS) and would like to take it to the next level. I just don't exactly know what/who the next level would be. Should I aske the MS rep to transfer to a MS Manager???? Who is the next in line? Any thoughts/Help would be greatly appreciated as we are still somewhat newbies to DVC!

Next step up is a "Team Line Advisor", they are the ones that the MS CM's can consult if they are having a problem. You could also contact the DVC Member Satisfaction Team for help.

Is the number for Member Satisfaction Team the same as Member Services (1-800-********)?

No, you would need to email the Member Satisfaction Team at DVCmembersatisfactionteam@disneyvacationclub.com .

I would use disneynutz's sugesstion of asking for a Team Line Advisor using the regular 1-800 phone number. Actually, I would not worry too much about MS adding points to your account as they will eventually figure it out - just don't use those points for a reservation in the meantime.

Over the years, quite a few have reported having extra points in their account and that MS adamantly denied any error - and then weeks later found that the 'extra' points had disappeared.

Good luck! :)

If it has been this long ask MS for the number for quality assurance.

I am surprised that you are so upset about extra points and it not being taken care of in a timely fashion. These points are not hurting you, I could understand if you were short and needed those points for a reservation. I would send an email, etc and as already mentioned just not use those points.

That seems ridiculous that the problem is still going on over 3 weeks. Any problem I have had with MS has been resolved the same day. I think your problem has been pushed to the back burner and I suggest calling and letting them know you want it resolved ASAP. If that doesn't work I would suggest calling your guide and saying "If you ever want me to buy more points from you then you need to get this resolved ASAP."

Make them fix this ASAP so you don't get billed additional for Annual Dues soon. Then you have a bigger problem to straighten out.

You wouldn't get billed dues for having extra points in your account - the OP's ownership number of points hasn't changed, they just have extra points in their account. That is not related to dues.

A couple of years ago I had this problem and asked them to correct it for about 4 months [a reservation I had to rent due to my mother's death was used, but they credited the points back to my account]. I told them and told them it was in error, but they said it wasn't. SO I finally thought what the heck and added a few days to my June trip. Of course, right after that they figured it out, took those points away from me and borrowed from my next use year without ever telling me. :confused3 Yes, my bad, but I now know MS will ALWAYS figure it out if it benefits Disney; just may take a while.
