Not ROFR thread - general discussion

Hi Amy, my wife & I love the show! We were lucky enough to meet you and Paul at the GF gift shop a couple weeks ago. We were the ones who tried the Red Baron pizza based on your recommendations lol. Just wanted to say thanks for saying hi and taking a photo with us 🙂. Keep up the great work!
Awww hiiii!
I remember you guys. Thank you for saying hello. I’m glad you enjoy the pizza. :) It’s hard to beat $5 pizza lol.

I think I have a plan for DVD to sell a lot more of the cabins that would cost DVD very little: you lower the number of points necessary at the cabins to be blue card members. Let's say, to 100. That would get a lot of contracts signed, I think. And cost DVD little. There's the possible loss of the additional 50 points sold in some cases, I guess. But I think this would pick up sales volumes and also direct a lot of people to Cabins who otherwise wouldn't buy there.

Is Fidelity in on the weekend? I haven’t worked with them yet but put in an offer yesterday and got nothing but tge generic email that my offer was received. Other brokers I have worked with have reached out pretty quick to let me know they were sending to owner or to see if I had questions.

I’ve worked with them several times and they’ve always been very responsive. I’d give it a full 24 hrs and then follow-up.

I promise I’m not trying to interrupt. :( My brain just tends to process things out loud, so sometimes I chime in mid-thought. I’m working on being more mindful of it. Sometimes also what may look like an interruption is him looking to me to jump in and give him a break. Producing, hosting, and being cognizant of what he has to edit can be a lot. We appreciate you watching the shows and for the feedback. :)
Amy, I just wanted to quickly share how differently other people may view this by sharing my own experience. I LOVE the show and was surprised to read the comment because I actually have the exact opposite perspective. I actually told my husband the other day how I always think your insights are so interesting and entertaining and how I wish we got to hear more from you.

Now, I am a woman married to a guy who can talk for a LONG time seemingly without taking a breath. So, I often will chime in with my own thoughts in the middle of one of his monologues and will then subsequently hear complaints of how I interrupt SO much 😆 I am also a professional woman and have had similarish experiences in the workplace. So, all just to say, different people will have different reactions always and I agree with @AstroBlasters, please keep being you!

I also know I’m like a week late to this thread so sorry for the late reply. I just had such a different reaction that I had to share.

Funny you should say this-I’ve been trying to get an answer from them on something from Thursday and haven’t heard anything!

I'd say you should interject more! You give a good balance and perspective. Sometimes the guys ramble, as is okay to do of course in that setting, and I often think we could use to hear from you more at that point.

Maybe when the time is right to fill Panda's spot there might be another women to join in and balance the panel a bit more.

Either way, keep the show going! We enjoyed meeting you and Paul at a DHS Moonlight Magic this year. And yes, we now eat that pizza too.

I've never had them be available on weekends, but maybe it was my broker (a new dad).

Best way to reach someone at Fidelity, that I've found, is to use their chat feature. I've worked w/Cindy Kane a time or two and the process went smoothly.

I find their chat feature to be the best way, at least on the weekends, to get someone to respond. And they will step over each other to sell a contract. Again, in my experience.

It really depends on who the agent is attached to the listing. I’ve had Javier respond on weekends. I’ve had Shawn not respond on weekends and Bonnie may have responded once on weekends. Zach has responded on weekends sometimes.

It probably depends on the particular agent/broker's schedule.
