Jennasis se post 77 ignore ignore ignore ...I'm learning

Anyone see the pics of B&H going to the after party? Hilary's dress was horrendous - a gigantic green mumu.![]()
Was what was written covered with paper so it would remain private? It just looked like a black scroll on a paper around nothing.
I'm glad the other weeding happened with no problems as well. They are likely the most famous non famous couple of the weekend!
You're absolutely right ..in fact I am starting to think I need to send you a PM post when I feel I'm getting to that point (just kidding wouldn't want to fill the PM box)
"Remember when YOU said to Ignore, Ignore, Ignore?"
I believe the reason Bill Clinton looks so grim (for lack of a better word) walking Chelsea down the aisle may be due to what he said in an interview recently. It was noted that he was known for being emotional, and he was asked if he was worried about tearing up/crying as he walked her down the aisle. He said he had been concerned about it and was going to do is best to NOT cry.....Because the second he teared up, it would become about HIM and not HER and that was not what he wanted on her wedding day. He didn't want the news stories to focus on how the "former President cried as he walked his daughter down the aisle." He wanted it to her her day. He just wanted to be the father of the bride. Not surprising, considering how much he dotes on her. I think he may have had to try VERY hard to keep his composure during that walk.

Very wise! I was all ready to respond to a few of the nasties on this thread but I won't lower myself to their level. Thanks for the post.Stop feeding the negative people. That's HOW they gain significance, by being negative and trying to pull focus. This is prabably a pattern they do in real life, too. Sad really. Let's not let this girl make this thread about her remark. Just Ignore, Ignore, Ignore.![]()

I don't think ignoring cattiness really has much impact. It doesn't make it go away, and silence leaves the impression of assent.Jennasis se post 77 ignore ignore ignore ...I'm learning![]()

So what is your solution?
me I'm more of a PM night owl...need coffeeCall it out, politely. In a way, by labeling it as trolling, you did precisely that.So what is your solution?
Oh I missed it on GMA..actually I'm more of a Fox news channel person, maybe they'll show it too. Yesterday morning on another show they were talking about Fathers & Brides, in particular Presidents and other historical figures. They said Gen Ulysses S Grant walked his daughter up & then stared at his shoes the whole time so he wouldn't "crack" and Pres Nixon let the cameras go just so far so the country wouldn't see him cry either. It was touching.
I just googled it... came from Bill himself, apparently. That said - I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and believe she said it with no malicious intent. And I'm confident that he wasn't offended or hurt or he wouldn't have put it out there for people to judge his much loved and adored daughter. More than likely it had to do with his health/heart problems. Or, it was said in jest. Or both. People do kid around with each other, and it really can just be in fun.
People choose to believe the good or they choose to believe the bad. I'm choosing to believe he was tickled by it or we wouldn't even know about it.
